San Ramon is one of the most popular cities in Northern California for people to move to. Not only does it have excellent schools, but amazing nature and hiking trails nearby. Many in the IT industry live in San Ramon, commuting to the South Bay for work at google, facebook, workday and many other companies.
The Las Trampas Regional Park offers many trails to explore. This one is my favorite, going in up the fire road tot he top, you can see the city of San Francisco on a clear day. The trails feel like they go on forever. You can see cows, deer, hummingbirds and more.
