Derek’s arrogance really irked me in this episode. He chose to stay and work things out with Addison after Meredith declared her love/ feelings for him. He destroyed and humiliated her and expected her to go on as if things could be normal between them.
Daes Gatling it's not that he always misstreat, when Addison asked him to give another chance he thought to give his marriage another chance that was not the bad thing. His main mistake was not telling Meredith that he was married or separated for that matter. He has ego undeniably.

On the other part, there's this one episode where Mer was in Addison's service and the patient clearly misjudged her because of what she knew about them and Addison defended Mer to that patient, explaining to her that Mer is not at fault and that she's the one who cheated and that patient owe Mer a gaddam it apology.
Derek annoyed me so much in the earlier seasons. He was too arrogant and thought that things should be the way he liked them to be. Even if Addison did cheat on Derek first, he should have had the courtesy to tell Mer that he was separated.

Not gonna lie, ever since this episode, I didn't like MerDer. I know, seasons passed and they were a loving epic couple, but I wouldn't have been able to deal with this in my personal life it felt so icky every time McDreamy was so arrogant.
