Earlier I planned to buy a firefox cycle but they don't have the touring cycle which I needed.
You can also buy car cycle carrier if going for a long drive to take your cycle along but do check if it is allowed or not. You can also check the cycles on www.bergamont.com
Bought a new cycle for my next trip to Leh from Delhi. Bergamont Grandurance RD 3 Silver with shimao gear shifter looks amazing as its a complete touring cycle. Bergamont ki bikes bahit heavy hoti hai. Mere pass bergamont sweep 3i thi unke website pe is bike weight 11.6kgs hai. But it's heavier more than that

Yes it is capable but Leh Roads will make things very difficult with any cycle. Didn't face cycle related issues with this cycle on Leh trip. Thank you!

Hello. I did not face any issues with cycle in the whole trip from Delhi to Leh. No issues in dynamo hub as well. I have ridden this cycle only 1000 kms till now that to delhi to leh only. Didn't get a chance to go on another trip on this cycle. Hope it helps.
Have you taken it on gravel roads?
Does having mudguards makes it difficult or noisy on patchy or gravel roads?
Is the gear shifting smooth?
Does it have the right gears for climbs?
Yes. I rode from Delhi to Leh on this bicycle. Please watch the Delhi to Leh series on my channel. No noise issue. Yes Gear is smooth. Yes right gears. Hope it helps.
