- The owls have some fun in the desert.. Or maybe they don't...?

The sixth installment of the Average series. Our two owls see how far they can go before they run out of gas, maybe they didn't expect to end up in a desert.
This one took a little bit longer than I wanted it to, but I like how it turned out, and I hope you all do as well! Also what better day to upload this on than INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION DAY, WOOOOO!
Also, with this done, you can expect Infinite Blade things next. I hope you all look forward to that!

Been looking forward to this one for a few reasons, it's probably easy to guess them xD.
I tried to take more of an "Average Day" approach with this one, and I think it went pretty well. It was pretty fun to animate though, _especially the ending there._ I hope you guys don't mind it being a tad bit shorter either.
Also, what do you guys think of this episode?

From what I've gathered, the age of random fun has started to end for Red and Blue and is slowly being replaced with a more plot based fun, with characters who have god-like abilities slowing creeping in (being the Black and Brown owls respectively). The Brown Owl appears to be out to protect Red and Blue (with the book and pen), which leads us to assume that it is representative of Da Sassy Owl. The Black Owl appears to be out to kill Red and Blue for whatever reason, they seem to be the antagonist.

Sounds like the Brown mystery character is the author of this world, rewriting the events in order to protect the owls from Dark, and in doing so writes him out of the scene and replaces him with Gold. Dark then chides them for cutting it that close. Funnily enough the only brown character in this series I can think of is a certain Horse man... hmmmm
Edit: Nevermind, I went back to refresh on One Average Day and theres a brown owl :O
I’m pretty sure brown is rewriting the story because if you pay attention gold gets shorter noticed by red and he danced with people starring at him but all of a sudden got shy, I’m guessing that dark was supposed to do those dance moves but brown didn’t have enough time to rewrite so gold did darks moves
I know u know this but dark is walking in the hallway ready to make his scene but is teleported elsewhere and replaced by gold

Another knockout! Your music choices never cease to amaze me. Along side that, your artstyle has vastly improved since the last video, I really love the sprites in the Shantae scene and Goldie's nervous expression. And of course, the choreography seems to get better and better every entry.

Dang. Dark is just a mix of Red and Blue's DNA and he's powerful as hell
imagine him with the sunglasses, no wonder the writer had to poof Gold into existence at the literal last second.
stuff like the sequences of Blue falling down the sand dune or Gold dancing remind you that this guy is actually a really good animator with an understanding of how his characters exist in a 3-D space
and then you remember you're watching a stickman animation that was made in Adobe animate

Actually notice at 3:14 right before dark came out, a brown owl wrote something in a book and replaced him with gold. At the end of the video dark is talking to Brown saying that he almost lost. Looks like gold is a friend and brown is using some author power to protect red and blue.

Theory: Gold boi is actually the dark owl but is being possed by him and can pretty much switch out when the dark owl needs a stand in for his plans. And in the last scene the dark owl was talking to gold since he was shaking like a leaf in a storm while talking to those two which is why the dark owl said "wow, you nearly lost it there."

Dark is talking to someone at the end. It seems more like Gold and Dark are two sides of the same coin. I mean look at 3:07 til 3:13, we see Dark walking out of the pyramide but then the effect happens and we get Gold.
Same with how Dark and Gold walk. Dark oozes just pure swag while Gold's swag levels are off the charts when he's grooving but they hit the floor when he's moving.
