I compare the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus 3 wood against the Mizuno STZ 230 3 wood in a head to head battle to see which is the most powerful off the tee. With many golfers struggling with the driver, a 3 wood is the next best option. These two golf clubs provide forgiveness with powerful but which one edges it?

I wish that they would include a brush with that TM FW. so much grass and dirt gets in the gap of the weight it is annoying.

Looks like a shaft test. That green , even though the one you have here is weakened a bit from the original, is still quite hard to hit consistently. A very niche shaft vs the shaft you used in the TM which is pretty much standard fare.

Would love to see a Fairway Wood comparison between the TSR3, Stealth 2 Plus and Callaway Paradym Tripple Diamond.

For the price the Stealth 2 is the way to go! The 5 wood is the best choice too. You’d get 6 configurations in one club! HL 3 wood and a low spin version, 5 wood with high launch or low spin, and a 7 wood high launch or low spin. Set up for 16, 18, and 20 degrees and then has ability to change the weight for high launch or low spin!

should note that alot of the strikes with the mizuno were in the heel so itll spin up vs normal strike and you have the taylormade at 13 degrees vs 14 degrees on the mizuno. Your highest clubhead speeed and ballspeed also came from the mizuno. Just some obvservations. Looks like a great club

Michael, I would be curious to get your thoughts on the 9 wood from Cleveland. I currently have a 3/7 wood from srixon MK2 - 42.25 inch high launch shaft in the 3 wood and a 42 inch high launch shaft in the 7 wood. The gap is perfect.
The ease of hitting the high lofted woods cant be overstated, so much so that I am even considering a 9 wood at 30 years old to replace my 4 iron. I am concerned that going with the Cleveland 9 wood I may ruin the gapping in the set since its head volume is fairly significantly larger than the 7 wood even if its loft is 24 degrees.

For 3-wood shots the ball should be tee'd up lower than it is in this video, or no tee at all.
