first round :
in a magic circle ch 3 for height then chain 17 double crochet
second round :
ch 3 , 1 DC , CH 2 , 1 DC IN the next stitch , 1 DC Iin the next stitch , 2 DC in every stitch , CH2 , 2 DC in every stitch , REPEAT
third round :
CH3 , 1 DC , CH2 , 2 DC ( in the same space )
fourth round :
8 DC in the chain 2 space of the previous round , slip stitch , repeat
