  • I'm here in Belize in search for a new home, yes this is one of five countries I'm considering to move to. Caye Caulker was my first stop in Belize. I have posted some videos out of order, I have a lot to share.
    I'm traveling the world while I continue to search for a new home. Caye Caulker is the first of three locations in belize I spend time in. San Pedro will be following and then Belize City.     I am a Belizean and Belize is NOT an island it is border Guatemala and east of the Caribbean Sea . The islands that you call islands is NOT island those are cayes

      It's legal there but you can't in public. It will have to be on private property.

    I stayed in that exact Airbnb the guy in the house next to that Airbnb had some very big dogs

    If you were in a 5 star hotel we will not be able to experience the culture with you. For that, i thank you for being "bidget friendly". Also, everyone doesn't have those funds anyways. So this is excellent for many. ❤❤❤

      Thank you. And I've noticed some might not want to show anything other than a 5 star hotel. I'm not rich nor ashamed to show that you don't have to be in a 5 star hotel to travel and enjoy someone's country!

      Great video however you have mispronounced the name of the island. It is pronounced “KEY Cauker”
      I’ve only land in Belize since 2009 and this is one of my favorite places to go. Thanks for doing the video.

      I would pick San Pedro because of options, more restaurants and places to hang out. Caye Caulker is 10x slower and laid back. If you're retired and not want to be around a lot of people, Caye Caulker is the spot.

    Which ABB did stay at?

      It was a small 4 unit. I paid $50 a night, that was one of the cheapest there on the island. It was alright but most westerns would not have liked the bathroom one bit. The host was great.

    It was a hidden gem. Sadly, it is no longer! Miss the days when you could really explore the island without the crowd. Avoid the popular food spots, truly tasteless. Sip N Dip was the best spot to just chill and good vibz

    noisy huge diesel generetor powering island (at least in 2017 was like this), high prices, not real nice beach there.

      They might have upgraded it or it's not close by the houses and apartments. I didn't hear nor see any big generators.

      Yes, it’s changed, but there are hidden gems still. Caye Caulker, and Ambergris, nope. The island life is still alive and fantastic
