You are going to see this play on highlight reels for years. That was just crazy town. Afterwards, the kicker ( Castillo ), apologized for missing a 61 ( ? ) yard field goal on the previous possession. Just love the CFL, and the Blue Bombers !!
I live in California and really like Canadian football. We can watch it on cable tv. My only thing is that the field and end zones are huge and the uprights look a bit dangerous being so close to the front of the end zone. It is very exciting and I do like the Blue Bombers. That was a crazy one. 😊
The posts have some thick padding on them but yeah they're dangerous. Offenses near the endzone will use the post as an extra player and will intentionally run receiver rubs and picks into them to mess up the defenders. What you can do though with the field goal posts on the line and the big endzones is return missed field goals and give the 1 point for a bad FG that doesn't come back out. That's one of the coolest things about CFL rules and it can't work with the posts back.
@@peterkossits4794The goal posts also help the defense though, takes away a lot of middle assault options, without them you'd really have to look at an endzone change too because it would be way too easy to score in the red zone, I think the game as a whole and most players are aware enough of them to avoid most danger. Usually when someone cranks into it in the CFL it's a recent American guy that hasn't gotten used to them yet.
Two evenly matched teams doing battle, with a one-point victory by the Bombers. Wish I was there, it must have been an exciting game, as is typical of CFL games.
Great game by the alouettes! It was a great bounce back from the last few games! Really encouraging for the playoffs! Bombers, well, the weather will not save you all the time! Just kidding! Gotta love the CFL
Winnipeg will win the 111th Grey Cup in Vancouver BC. I am American who follows CFL Football very extensively since 1978 and I can tell you if Zach Collaros takes care of the Football the rest of the team will do it's job.
@watsonroadster3707 I am not a Bombers fan its just a selection on the game I am actually a BC Lions fan. I am taking the fan part out of me and making a professional pick. Last year I picked the Alouettes. This year its the Bombers its not personal.
@boanless i have been to BC place many times for Lions games and actually my 1st ever CFL Football game the 102 nd Grey Hamilton vs Calgary. I was sitting in the 2nd row cheering for Calgary that day. I am from the United States and when I walked into BC Place I was blown away by how small Zach Collaros was in warm ips for the Tiger Cats. But than I saw #24 Delvin Breaux and I said instantly he will be in the NFL in a few years and sure rnough he became a 2 year starter with his Hometown New Orleans Saints ralk about a great story of determination and perseverance. When i see a player in person I know immediately that they have the IT factor.
American from Georgia here. Never in my life have I seen an ending like that. This will be one of the most bizarre endings to any sporting event I’ve ever seen
I picked Montreal in last years Grey Cup and I actually was there this year Ivwill be watching the game on my phone. I can tell you Brady Olivera loves playing at BC Place he amazing numbers there and Montreal's record in Vancouver is horrible. Plus you factor in a potentially pro Bombers crowd approximately 60,000 in there Montreal or Toronto would have a very tough time in that environment. From a Football Standpoint its the Bombers time to win.Last year was Montreal's time. Every season is different and truly feel that Winnipeg wins the Cup after an 0 and 4 start to the season.
@9:07 - Do any of you remember an NFL punter by the name of Russell Erxleben? He was the punter for the New Orleans Saints during their nightmare 1980 season. In December of that year, in a game at Shea Stadium against the New York Jets, Erxleben found himself punting in conditions nearly identical to what came up at this moment. He boomed a low punt that bounced and hemmed the Jets deep enough into their own territory that they didn't have enough time to move the ball into field goal range. ruclips.net/video/V6HJ7r4Rsq4/видео.html By nailing that punt, Erxleben had saved his team, the 0-14 'Aints', from a winless season.

What a game, What a finish
"Its confirmed, God is a bomber fan" ahahhaha Go Blue, What a season after a slow start!
Thanks for the game highlights; go CFL go.
Well these two teams are pretty fun to watch playing each other. Here’s hoping to a grey cup rematch
Mother Nature’s a bomber fan
Really amazing! Beyond belief.
That was so great at the end. Announcer was on point

Insane. I live in Montreal and didn't get a drop of rain yesterday. This must have been only right over the stadium.
that spooky Halloween wind came in at the last minute of the game to curse Montreal.

Plays Collaros interception that was called back as a highlight, but doesn't play Ford interception that should have been on the first play 🤷
What the heck just happened in the end there? 😂

that happens when none of those five guys wrapped up his legs.
Strong run, but he had a lot of help for the last five yards. Love the effort, though.

The Goalposts are the same as the NFL.
