Good game and congratulations to both teams. They both played hard and deserve credit. Both of yesterday’s games were won in the 4th Quarter. Both were exiting and even thought the score doesn’t reflect because of late fourth quarter pick 6es both were close games. It shows the quality of the teams in the CFL and why it is the most entertaining football in North America. I can’t wait for next week’s match ups and hope they are as exciting as this week’s games were.
Meanwhile, Montreal going to check game films, with 3 games against Toronto and watching Toronto whipping Ottawa. Montreal better not watch "Jason and the Argonauts"! The movie.
But that squib kick mere seconds before halftime tho. Forcing the Toronto kicker back onto the field to score points just when he was headed to the dressing room for refreshments. Maybe had a full bladder too. Bob Dyce = Evil genius.
Argonauts were RELENTLESS against RedBlacks. Every single mistake made by Ottawa was very costly for them. And to think that Ottawa had the ball for almost 40 MINUTES. Toronto had a big play galore. Chad Kelly with only 2 incompletions on just 20 attempts (90% completion) for 358 yards and 4 TDs... that's an absurd level of greatness. Kelly is still a piece of trash as a human being but as a player he's truly phenomenal.
I couldn't be more disappointed in Ottawa! After such a great start to the year when the defence was their #1 asset, now here they are with all their DBs looking totally inept... I know I'm not the one wearing the pads so it doesn't make sense to feel this way, but I feel embarrassed, angry and deeply sad. It's hard not to find your identity in the team you cheer for.
Props to the big guys, especially #86 (I think) for keeping pursuit and #52 for attempting to thane the legs out from under the guy who picked the ball off. I’m hoping to see either of the teams in the eastern final if the bombers make the grey cup. #ForTheW
Given the end score, this likely would have had no impact, but @6:35 "major foul, roughing the passer"!!?!? What!?!? Once the QB runs past the line of scrimmage, he's not a passer anymore, he's essentially a RB and he wasn't even down yet when he was hit. Calls like these drive me crazy... or does anyone else think this is an odd/terrible call?
@@michaelowens3507 Every hit on the head must be penalized. No matter the sport. Even in soccer elbows to the face are penalized with at least a yellow card.
@1:22 facemask against#65 (?) not called on a big play. #7 getting his head yanked right in front of the ref. Instead they call pass interference on defense. Good to see the NFL's influence in these games, lol.
Ah, colour vs colour. We need more of it in sports. I think the NBA is the only North American league that does it consistently. I hate white uniforms. They’re so plain lol.
Ottawa missed some crucial points and by the end of the 3rd argos were going full blast touchdown after touchdown. The best team won.... Like the Argos but rooting for Montreal next week. May the best team win cause we face the west after.
It's not no fun league that is truly all about clowns and is truly a bush league. It's CRAZY FOOTBALL LEAGUE. Imagine seeing something fun in no fun league? No way.
@@teo_heel Then how come the CFL has done nothing but lose money for years while the NFL is the most lucrative sports enterprise on the globe? You CFL lawyers are forever trashing the NFL to feel better about your precious little grunt league of NFL cuts.
@@FischerFan Because it's not all about money. Canada doesn't have as much money as USA in general and some of the league's decisions were not great but in the last few years everything is going perfect for the league. And CFL is not a league of NFL cuts, some players never even tried to NFL because they knew all along that CFL is just simply better. And it's not like it's just a bad NFL copy. CFL is very unique in terms of the rules and how the game is played in general. CFL needs better promotion of the game. And maybe a little bit smaller field so it would be easier to play it outside of Canada.
Game highlights appreciated; go CFL go.

Argonauts played a complete game. Gotta bring that focus to Montreal...🏈🇨🇦
Wut? Dud you not see their defence get shredded?
@IamReallySanta They stepped up and made big plays when needed...
Meanwhile, Montreal going to check game films, with 3 games against Toronto and watching Toronto whipping Ottawa. Montreal better not watch "Jason and the Argonauts"! The movie.
@@IamReallySanta It's not like Toronto sealed the game with two pick sixes...
Some mighty fine football happening here! Thanks CFL!
Let’s go Argos! On to Montreal.
The lateral on the pick-6 was awesome
Color vs color was nice to see.
For sure, when both teams have distunct enough colour scheme like this, why shouldn't they?
There we go boys!! On to montréal

The Argos really put it together in the 2nd half. This was fun. Argos V Riders in the Grey Cup!!!
Imagine scoring 38 points and losing by 20.
In 1990 BC once scored 43 and lost by 25!
@@cflhighlights9370 I believe it.
Yeah ,go figure! Odd and unusual.
@cflhighlights9370 oh my goodness! You got to be kidding me? BC scored 43 and the opponent scored 68? Unreal.
@@jamesqualls8125 Yep!
well done Argos loved the lateral for a TD, think they still have to step their game in Montreal
Ottawa said "no defence allowed!"
Sick lateral🎉
Ottawa missed a couple of TD opportunities in the first half that could have changed the complexion of the game.

I agree on both counts, he's a great player, and human trash, but I think he should never have been allowed back. CFL should have higher standards.

@@echobeefpv8530 What did he do?
What a shame that the upper deck seats are empty.
Argos 🏈 Grey Cup time 🏆 CFL Playoff 🇨🇦 Let go
The worst nightmare for Ottawa.... letting this become a shootout
Heads up pitch on that int

Agreed. But I guess it's good that the team finally had a playoff appearance. There's something to build on.
Argos going to the east final for the fourth year in a row, that's impressive
Blue Bombers are in the West Final for the 6th season in a row.
Aklins celebration and trash talk thumbs down to the fans after his TD with 6 seconds left in the 1st half Thank you. Go Argos!
argos for the grey cup this year!!!!!
At 3:24, the defender defended a pass against his own team intercepting it 😂
It didn't even matter in the end as Argos had their share of pick sixes in the fourth quarter.

That was #83 (Kalil Pimpleton).
From Montréal, welcome to my nightmare...
How many points were scored in this game? Almost 100 points!!!
Did they tell the defenses just to stay at home today??
96 points, tied a CFL Playoff record, 2011 East Semifinal also had 96 points scored... but with overtime.
Argos put that B2A!
That kickoff before half was one of the stupidest decisions I’ve seen in the cfl
It wasn't as stupid as you think. It was more like a squib kick gone wrong.

Andre Proulx sometimes does those odd calls.
Horrible call. You can’t even touch a Quarterback. Kelly was fair game and deserved the big hit. He didn’t even slide. Such a bogus call
@@michaelowens3507 And Kelly did slide, but he was hit while he was starting to do so.

I did, until I saw the second angle of the replay. Clear helmet to helmet, not intentional, but still.
Does anyone think Chad Kelly was concussed? Seemed like he collapsed twice when talking to the ref after.
#23 from the Argo's did the Deion Primtime strut on them boys 😂
What a game, And I don’t even like any of these teams
Go tiger-cats :(
You can see which team I support, but I'm rooting for the Argos; because Chad Kelly went to the same high school I did.

In such a modern PC culture, I shocked that the name "Redblacks" still exists. 😂
See nothing wrong with that name to be honest. I don't think that lumberjacks are offended.
The Ottawa QB has a weird throw and release, first I've seen of him though.
Dru? I guess so. Some people don't like his decision making.
AAARRRRRGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!!!
SUCK!!!
Feel bad for Ottawa but they took that whooping
Calgary et Saskatchewan? Oops! Plus est, s’il te plait? Ou sont le defence? Bon Match, Allez a Montreal!!!
There's no defense on either team. Argos aren't going to win with no defense against Montreal.
Why isn't Ottawa wearing their white jerseys?
