Glad I found this video. I was hesitant on sitting in this row for an upcoming flight, but not anymore!
Glad you found it helpful. :)
thanks, your video has helped me to buy a good seat!
Glad I could help!
Excelente video. Thanks for sharing
You’re so welcomed. Glad it was helpful
All information I needed! Excellent! Thank you! Please, is the proximity to the galley and the lavatory bothersome?
You’re so welcomed. I’m glad you found it helpful.
it's basically a domestic first class seat with economy service.
For domestic flights on this, yes! For international it’s a little better service and attention and I believe it comes with an amenity kit as well.
@@DrGariSGood to hear this breakdown. My great uncle wants to pay for our flight to Rio de Janeiro using his 240k AA points so I was looking at Premium Economy but had no clue what the option entailed.
@@chrisbrown8748 too many points for PE. Email me as my rates are usually less than published - gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com
How tall are you and how does that foot rest for you?
Thanks for the video. So is it the back rowsa that are better or the front ones Doc.
Thanks for watching - tough question. It really depends on the person. Let’s discuss this while we book? gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com
Thank you for sharing you flight.
You’re so welcomed!
@@DrGariS Fly safe for the summer.
@@LMays-cu2hp thanks so very much
@@DrGariS Again, you are welcome.
I am always looking to see how people fly before the pandemic and now after we try calm this pandemic problem way down!!! Also, I am a former Purser Flight Attendant so, I have flown a lot and I do stay in contact with my former coworkers. The industry is trying to get back to where we were before this global problem hit us. Well, again, thank you for sharing your trips.
Do you know what size headphone jack it is? I noticed it looked like you had it plugged into the monitor? I was wondering if you can use your own headphones with it?
I’m not sure the size but they also have the wifi on the flight so you can also use your own device (which I hate doing). I much prefer using the provided IFE with their devices.
Nice video! Thank you! Does premium economy include baggage or do you have to pay a baggage fee?
Glad you enjoyed. It depends more so on the itinerary and the fare WITHIN the premium economy ticket. When you email me, I’ll let you know within your fare. Feel free to email me at gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com as I typically get lower than published fares. :)

Hey that’s so nice - thanks so much
Do you recommend an economy plus seat for a transatlantic flight? We want to get something a little more comfortable but won’t break the bank (well too much)😅
Yes I would. Feel free to email me as I usually get lower than published fares, Gari.Senderoff@cruiseplanners.com
like premiium econemy cabin
Noticeable difference in width of seats in premium vs main cabin? Would you recommend premium on an international flight?
Depends on which plane we get you on. If you haven’t already booked I do get lower than published rates. Gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com - send me an email!
Quietest aircraft I have ever flown. Remarkably quiet.
It is super quiet for sure! :)
Didn't even show how far the seat reclined but hey, so glad you showed me what the engine looked like. All I wanted to know was what the engine looked like. Great time to book premium economy. smdh
It’s a pretty decent product on some airlines! I don’t like the AA narrow body anymore (no IFE but it’s all good on the wide body planes)
Don't like my comment. This was a terrible video.
I did not make the video for you at all. Don't tell me what to do on MY channel or you will be blocked.
Definitely no golf clap for that landing.
That’s true
Which seat number was this? Just chose these exacts ones I believe! Except the seat map shows a nonexistent middle seat?
What do you mean? I’ll guide you through it as we book. My email is gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com. Thanks for your inquiry. I’m looking forward to working with you and saving you some money on your flight hopefully! 😃
Row 6 on my flights from LAX to HND and back. Seems like AA got rid of First Class section on those flights perhaps because nobody buys it. First 5 rows are Business Class. I’d suggest getting the window seat if you can so you don’t have to see the lavatory doors opened and closed when people use them. Also not having people standing in the aisle next to you waiting for that. There’s so much room in front of you that you don’t need bother the aisle seat passenger when you need to get out during flight.
@@LT-tf3nc good info. I'll be on the same flight and I grabbed the same seat.
What is the seat # you're in and where is the flight going?
I think this was LAX/MIA and it was bulkhead
AA brought back the ifes?
787 already have them. I hope they put them back on the narrow body planes!
Can it connect to Bluetooth headphones?
Hey that’s a GREAT question. Can we address it via email? Gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com. I do get lower than published rates on many itineraries
4th video I've watched and still nothing showing the seat recline.
Good luck. Keep looking - it’s a pretty limited recline
My love for Japan vs fear of flying….
🇯🇵
How far do the front row leg rest come up?
Hi Eddie - definitely not far at all!
@@DrGariS Thanks I saw 1 picture of a front premium economy leg rest elevated, and it looked to go up about 1/2 way.
@@iamric23 yes. Hope to help you book it and maybe save you money on an international flight! :)
Eddie, did you end up flying first row in Premium Economy 787-8 on American? Curious how the leg rests were relative to the other rows with foot rests. Flying PHL to Paris in March and curious which row to sit in. Thanks!
@@chuck9099 No, I did however purchase a ticket that was $175 more each way for the 2nd row seat that did not have a seat in front of it. I believe that there are 4 like this on the plane I flew. It gave me all the leg room I needed plus an easy access to leave my seat and return plus stand up and stretch.
I got on the American Airlines canadair bombardier and that shit was so small man had to lift the middle armrest up lmao gah damn I know I’m chubby but get on that plane and you gunna feel like raspewsha from Norbit😅
They have very small seats. Hopefully I can save you money when you book international flights as my rates are lower than published - gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com
Did the flight attendants keep the bathroom clean or no?
Not really at all - good question
That is not their job.
@@gabriellasantiago9961 not really. Their job is primarily designed for safety.
@@DrGariS correct!
@@Okcharismathat’s never been their primary job and actually I don’t think I would want my flight attendant doing that and then handing me a drink or food items. Flight attendants are there primarily for safety and per FAA standards and rules. Not sure how this became a political and racist comment. You sound so full of love (for a Trumper)
Is your seat 6J? That will be my seat to japan in February
I would need to review this video to see what seat it was and I’m currently overseas on a ship with very little internet. You may need to look again as this was a very long time ago and I don’t remember. I would not suggest this for a lengthy flight (more than 5-6 hours). For that I would do business on a lay flat if that’s possible for you.
@@DrGariS too late already paid for my tickets but if the space is as big or close to the exit row then I’ll be okay since that’s the seat I usually choose for my long flights
@@JEGlobalConcepts contact me next time. Sometimes my rates on business are even lower than the published rates on premium economy.
@@DrGariS oh really? Hhmmm interesting
What’s the name of your company and business info?
@@JEGlobalConceptsCruise Planners & Signature Travel Network. I believe that’s in the video.
Defenetly AA economic is worst so far I used
What do you mean? Their economy class or their airline economy doing business with them?
Seems like more of a video of looking out the window than reviewing the actual cabin, Service and Seat comfort.
Thanks so much for the comment. There is a take off and landing in this and a couple of shots of the actual flying but the seat is also covered. I have more in depth videos as well though. ;)
Thanks for your reply. I'll try to find that one. I find most videos of the different cabins are more looking out the window than the aspects of the cabin, comfort of the seat, food service and cabin in general. I search for these videos while making my decisions for which flight I am going on and I'm always surprised when most of the videos are looking out the window. I'll check out your other videos. Thank you.
Yeah, everyone has different wants and what they are looking for. I usually fast forward the take offs and landings but seems like most people like that. :)
Anyway, hope you find one that helps a little better! Have fun.
@@Ro7068 The seat is a big difference for me. So far, this is the 4th video I've watched and there was nothing about the seat recline. My back starts hurting on those long international flights. So I've been taking business class seats because they have great lie flat seats. I'll take a premium economy with reclining seats but I yet have to find a video that actually shows how far down they go.
email me at gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com so I can assist on your next adventure and save on international business class air AND expeditions
These are great seats but they're almost NEVER available...And I take this flight often! So frustrating!!!
You have to book them ahead of time. I always get them.
Unless international flight is not worth the price.
If it’s over 6 hours I will NEVER fly economy
Premium Economy with American isn't big enough. They need to double it's size
They do have business class seats, which have much more space. PE is a lot more comfy than steerage.
@@DrGariS yeah. However more people can afford premium economy. I'm not suggesting expand premium economy at businesses class expense. They should sacrifice a few extra rows in economy
@@tyeward3365 I think economy itself should be done away with.
@@DrGariS Well. I've been on an American 787 in economy transatlantic. I can't argue with that. 🙂
What is the premium racism like American Airlines rude chuck people out for silly reasons
Seriously, that’s your comment on MY channel? I have no idea what you’re even writing.
@@DrGariS American Airlines always kick people out of plane like delta air for someone speaking Arabic. It was an American Airline and it was racist hence the comment. Sorry that the truth offends you.
@@DrGariS I forgot to say it’s typing not writing.
@@YusufG121 I’ve been to TONS of places in the Middle East and have had MANY American flights (domestic and international) with them and One Source and I’ve never, ever seen it. Where have you experienced this? It doesn’t offend me - I’m a psychologist and my wife is Persian
@@DrGariS I've never seen anyone kicked off any flight for speaking Arabic or Farsi. How would an average flight attendant even know the difference between those two and say Gujarati or Thai, etc.?
