Cap has been able to dodge inhumane shit, meanwhile Soldier Boy couldn’t really dodge punches moving at regular speed. So even if we assume he really is more fragile than Soldier Boy, it wouldn’t matter.

Captain Americas scaling is all over the place. One movie he struggling with holding a helicopter in place and the next he is catching a punch from thanos. Even if thanos wasnt going all out it was impressive
Yeah the helicopter feat made no sense. In Winter Soldier he lifter a dozen ton steel beam off Bucky and in Age of Ultron he semi-seriously split a piece of log apart that has been calced to take 10 tons of force.

Soldier Boy might literally be the only The Boys' character that's stronger than the character that He's parodying.
Something tells me the reason why that was oddly the case is because the creator of The Boys, especially had a hatred towards Captain America for some asinine reason.
(It's no secret he hates super heros aside from Superman, but he did had heros he hated more than others and Captain America was one if them and it shows if you seen his works in Marvel comics when he writes him)

Well, most of them are pretty weak comparatively. Like obviously they're powerful overall, but Boys scaling is pretty solidly at city level for the most part, with a few exceptions.

Great video. There’s also another durability feat for soldier boy. in Captain America the Winter soldier, cap got shot three times and was pretty much out of commission, while Soldier Boy got shot in the mouth by an AK-47 and didn’t have a scratch. Definitely soldier boy more times then not

Honestly, I think Cap's big advantage here IS his shield. Cap's shield can endure far more than Soldier Boy can put out and he is skilled and fast enough to keep it where it needs to be. I think this is closer to dead even than you might expect just because of that one fact.

He can also wield stormbreaker, but the hammer is something that he can use if he absolutely has to.
Genuine question: Does the feat that Steve pulled in Infinity War affect in anything?
In that movie, Steve is able to fight with Thanos for a bit, and actually hold his hand open for a brief period of time before being hit point blank at the face. And even after that hit, which can knock the Hulk out cold, Steve needs just a bit of time to fully stand-up and be ready for the next round.
It's stated Thanos was more impressed by his will than actually physically matched

For the last time, the boys "light based attacks" are not light, It is shown at different speeds in the same material, it is tangible and can be interacted with physically by normal humans. There is no properties of light. homelander's heat vision is not light based as he can push people around with it like he pushed soldier boy and butcher with heat vision, same goes for starlight, light does not have tangible capabilities it is literally energy so if they can push people with it it is not light.
so the speed of the verse is still at most hypersonic+ with the homelander saving butcher from point blank explosion scene.
homelander in the canon animation is seen to have surface level injuries with a city block level explosion. his durability should effectively be around large town to small island at most realistically if he is able to be harmed even only surface level injuries by a city block level explosion. the insides is not as durable as maeve is shown to stab through his ear drums with a metal straw. soldier boy should be on a similar level as maeve stated that weapon able to kill soldier boy should work on homelander.
ap wise, soldier boy should be slightly lower than homelander as he eventually gets overpowered after some time fighting on equal footing. last ditch effort was the explosion of city block level so highest ap right there.
captain america dodged actual light-based lasers being ironman's lasers, ultron's clones lasers, putting him on at least massively hypersonic+, later on keeping up with thanos puts him at relativistic+ combat speed.
ap, captain america is able to stagger thanos and do some harm to him, note that this is only accounting just his punches and kicks etc, you can play the movie back and see it for yourself, this puts cap at around country level ap to be able to stagger and slightly harm a large country+ durability thanos.
durability, thanos didnt pop him in one go and he is out to kill, same thanos punched ptsd into the hulk of all people and cap didnt get dark noir'ed so at least large country level.
this is not a battle, this is a slaughter, both are soldiers and are good at martial arts, cap is arguably the better martial artist as soldier boy got training but he mostly relied on stats while cap boxes opponents above his level, cap has vibranium shield that took mjolnir's hit to it, soldier boy shield is not comparable, cap can call mjolnir, thats more than enough to pop soldier boy.
mjolnir isnt caps weapon. you shouldnt count on it. People punch and kick and hold back at different levels. Staggering thanos doesnt scale his ap level to country level as he can still be killed by bullets. SB's shield is very heavy and easily able to tear through even black noir. It wont be able to damage cap's shield but it would definitely damage cap if sb can even get a hit in

Homelander is shooting lasers, it's referred to as his laser vision on various instances. In the audio description for the fight scene at the end of season 3, Starlight's opening attack against Soldier Boy is referred to as a light blast. These are light based attacks.
Captain America could not harm Thanos pre mjolnir amp. His kick moved Thanos' face for less than a sec then gets launched away. In Infinity War, Cap got one shot by a Thanos that was holding back and not using the stones to amp his attack. Cap got an uppercut in, but it's a similar case with the kick mentioned before. At most you could say that his shield's durability scales to Thanos' AP, but not Cap himself because he has not been directly hit by a Thanos that's trying to kill him.
Cap isn't close to hyper.
Even if you think those are laser based attacks , cap was just aim reacting.
So yeah.
Soldier boy basically has the durability of homelander (maybe slightly less) but the fighting style and speed of Captain America. His strength is also way higher than Steve and his special ability to cause a mini nuclear explosion is easily the most lethal weapon in his arsenal.
I don't think his strength is than much higher based on when him and homelander fought, they didn't break the walls yet they damaged each other just fine.

@@bell5248MCU Captain America has at most 15 years combat experience Solider Boy was active from WW2 to the 1980s. Cap is a good fighter but he does have less experience overall
Guy who is bullet proof vs guy who isn't bullet proof.
If that was the only stats that matter then sure, but Cap beats him out in so many other ways. Taking hits is the only area he beats Cap, but he still gets harmed by Kaiji physics. (Giant monsters only get truly harmed by other giant monsters or super weapons, they no sell everything else.) In this case he gets knocked around by other supes just fine. I see no reason cap using his shield to strike him won't be effective when he's smashed Ironman's armor with said hits. His shield hitting Thanos and other heavy weights still has always had an impact. The fact Cap schools Thanos in combat is a testament how skilled he is.
Is Super Boy stronger than Ultron...probably not. Cap fought his prime avatar solo for a prolonged period of time. Soldier Boy has only fought people weaker than himself prior to Homelander, and he lacks the experience against credible threats Cap has. Cap has too many advantages here for Soldier to prevail. He clearly tires while Cap does not.

Iam surprised you didn't mention soldier boy's shield. Sure it's not much compared to cap's vibranium shield but it was still pretty ridiculously durable. It took a prolonged blast from a blood lusted homelander and butcher at the same time. Those same laser blasts can casually split planes in half. Also even if the radiation blast is blocked by cap's shield he would still be affected by the radiation which could probably just vaporise the supersoldier serum similar to how compound v was removed from supes.

I'd day Cap mid diffs this, in endgame Cap was blocking attack from strikes delivered by a pissed off Thanos that were BREAKING VIBRANIUM, so realistically Cap scales up to Thor off the bat, with Mjolnir not even Denting the shield.

Cap striking with his shield does massive damage period as it knocks around Ultron as well, who massively outclasses Soldier Boy. Cap has better strength feats tha Super boy. He held down a helicopter, and fellow super soldier John Walker(second cap Armor) held up an armored truck from falling off a ledge which weighs around 30 tons. Nothing SB does puts him above cap there. The only area SB beats cap in is durability, but I see no reason cap doesn't damage him with his shield as less than nuke levels of force knock him around during fights. Starlight is no where near that force and still he reacts to it hitting him.
I’m a Cap fanboy but I understand that he has his limitations. Makes him a little heroic going into dangerous situations next to Hulk or Thor. That’s his superpower.

I agree cap wins. You should definitely make your own video as I support it. He has better strength feats, (John Walker, who is another super soldier/replacement cap holds up an armored car from falling off a ledge, which they weight up to 30 tons.) He holds down the helicopter. Soldier Boy and Homelander don't even break the walls of the building when they hit each in hero gasp. Soldier Boy is basically a bully who never fights anyone above his weight class, and gets put on the back foot when dealing with anyone of similar skill or better. Durbaility is the only area SB has a clear lead in, but he still gets knocked around by attacks that are no where nuke level damage. I see no reason cap with his shield doesn't knock him out given it's broke thru Ironman's armor.

He's a superior figther, so he likely will come out on top for that reason. Cap fights better than Soldier Boy thru out the films.

The durability feat where Soldier Boy had an AK-47 go full auto in his mouth without any damage is impressive. MCU Captain America got sent to the hospital after Bucky shot in in the torso. Captain America was straining to hold a car from falling in Age of Ultron. Soldier Boy casually threw a car threw Mother Milk's house. Soldier Boy is noticeably stronger than Queen Maev and she didn't budge when hit by an armored truck going at least 70 miles an hour. That would have ran Captain America over. Soldier Boy was able to go toe to toe with Homelander and Homelander had at least a hundred tons dropped on his head in the tunnels by Komiko's brother. Billy Butcher said it would take an H-Bomb to take out Soldier Boy. Captain America can be harmed by normal bullets like in Winter Soldier. Soldier Boy is just stronger and more durable. Captain America has more agility and skill, but it wouldn't be enough. The Russians fed him cocktails of sulphuric acid and couldn't even hurt his eyeballs with knives. Captain America wouldn't have survived that. Soldier Boy is just on a complete whole different level.

I would disagree if he's calling everyone who dodges a laser light based speed. In comic book logic energy blast/light beams are the same speed as say fireballs in street fighter. Normal humans dodge them all the time.

Hey mate, I've been enjoying your videos. I noticed there might be a misunderstanding about escape velocity. It actually refers to the initial speed an object needs to escape a planet's gravitational pull, assuming no further forces act on it. Flying characters like Homelander can accelerate and decelerate in flight, allowing them to escape a planet regardless of their speed, as they can counteract gravity.

Cap staggered Thanos in infinity war too. Thanos was wearing armour presumably made of uru in endgame which could protect him from even Hulk’s attacks and also Mjolnir so obviously cap wouldn’t hurt him. The fact that he didn’t just stonewall the kick is what’s impressive and is way above anything in the Boys verse. In infinity war when Thanos wasn’t wearing armour he was clearly affected by the attacks. Cap also took a punch from Thanos in infinity war which didn’t visibly damage and got smashed in the face again in endgame. His higher ends are way higher. Spidey’s kicks staggered him the same way and he no diffed cull obsidian who could rip apart a Hulkbuster armour more advanced than the one that fought Hulk.

This is not make everyone light speed fast or reaction speed, it just means these aren't remotely that fast as humans can track them with their eyes midflight.
The statement of Butcher claiming only a nuke can take SB down seems like a bit of a stretch when you look at his fight with him, he clearly held his own even when using temp V, especially against Homelander too. The scaling for Homelander and Soldier Boy is fishy at best, because they’re never consistent enough to be ON those levels to begin with. If Soldier Boy was capable of being taken down by a nuke, then nobody realistically would be a challenge for him, even in the Boys Universe. Cap here seems vastly more consistent, really because he’s been able to keep up with characters vastly superior than he is. I’m not really picking sides here, I’m just having a hard time trying to buy how Soldier Boy is somehow nuke level and loses to anyone in The Boys who ISN’T Homelander.

I never understand the speed of light arguments. Like sure, the beams are made of light, but I can count the frames before the blast hits his shield. It's not moving at the speed of light. Also gotta take into account that Cap already knows that Tony is going to shoot at Bucky. He's more so reacting to whatever Tony is about to do than reacting the light. It's like if I knew where lightning was gonna strike and moved out the way of it. Would that make me/my reactions faster than the speed of light?

To me, you are wrong. Captain America has some big advantages over Soldier Boy.
First, Strength.
I know, I know. "How could Cap be stronger?" I'll tell you. Soldier Boy's physical strength is said to be on par with Homelander. However, Homelander is stronger on the ground than in the air, so it's two different limits of strength. Despite that meaning Soldier Boy is stronger on the ground, his tactics and skills are nonexistent. He's also a straight up brawler, despite having military training (Although, no evidence has been proven, so I can't really count it).
Captain America has fought against a multitude of enemies, from soldiers with tesseract-powered super weapons, to androids and gods, to even Thanos (with 5 of the 6 Infinity Stones). Some of whom could be on par or stronger than Captain America, and for the most part, Cap still won.
He can also hold on to a 5-ton helicopter with one arm and can pull it back to the platform, as well as kick a truck so hard that it knocked out an enemy soldier. Cap can even throw a motorcycle at least 20 to 30 yards into a truck.
Captain America can knock out terrorists like Baltroc the Leaper, hundreds of HYDRA soldiers, and even Chitauri alien soldiers.
Next, Speed.
Captain America can run 26 MPH in "CA: TWS", going 13 miles in 30 minutes, as well as going 40 MPH on a freeway in "CA: CW". That is basically Superhuman (in "CA: TWS) to Subsonic Speed ("CA: CW"), which the former is faster than most sprinters, while the latter is faster than the human eye. His Combat and Reaction Speeds are faster, being at Massively Hypersonic+ (This means Cap can dodge bullets, block grenades, alien blasters and bombs, and lasers from Ultron sentries. He can also keep up with the likes of Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Winter Soldier, etc).
While Soldier Boy is in the Hypersonic+ Speed range, when it comes to Combat and Reaction Speeds, he can keep up with Homelander and Supers that have less power than he does. Still, when it comes down to someone who can dodge alien tech over lasers and bullets, dodging alien tech is much more impressive.
Finally, Intelligence.
Captain America's intellect allows him to be a master tactician, which includes an excellent memory. He is able to throw his shield at an opponent from the correct angles, which he can get it back after it ricochets off of the ground or walls. Even Iron Man stated that early in Spider-Man's career, Captain America can easily wins against him in both fighting and in skills, which Cap did do. Captain America was also able to land a physical hit on Thanos during the Wakanda fight in "Infinity War" and multiple hits in the Final Battle during "Endgame", which almost no one else could do in either movie.
Captain America is also a great leader, from being in the military and working with the Avengers, providing maneuvers and strategies to his allies, like he did in "The Avengers". But whether or not he's with a team, he's can also work solo by using his speed and stealth on unsuspecting enemies.
Soldier Boy's intellect allows him to be a superior soldier in battle, as well as being a great actor and singer. However, anything relying on intellect in battle is almost irrelevant, since he's stubborn and reckless. Plus, he doesn't act like a leader, and only 'acts' like it, in front of the cameras. Also, like I said in the "Strength" category, Soldier Boy is a brawler, and a brawler doesn't usually win fights.
Captain America will be hurt beyond any mortal man, but Cap isn't just "any mortal man". He can do this all day.
He will take down Soldier Boy. It won't be easy, but more times than not, America stands strong. Captain America Wins.

Agree nothing in the boys universe scales above the MCU as their fights don't match the hype. SB and Homelander don't even break regular walls when they fight. Cap put Ultron thru a cement pillar. He broke Stark's armor which survived heavier hits than anything Homelander been hit with. Homelander got bruises from the fight with Soldierboy. They were not striking with remotely close to megatons of force. Cap beats Sb in everything but Durability. His shield pick up alot of that disadvantage, as it's indestructible, and SB has not fought remotely as many supe beings as cap has. His superior skill and combat experience would carry him to victory over his mentally unstable counterpart.

Blocking a laser/energy beam doesn't make you relativistic! It only means you can calculate the trajectory of the laser that's about to be thrown. Me blocking a bullet with a shield wouldn't make me as fast as a bullet, it just means I was faster than the finger pulling the trigger!

An energy blast, cap shield, or spiderman's webing all travel at speeds that capable being dodged by anyone in comics that is a named character. It's human reaction speed fast. basically unless an attack is specifically stated as being super sonic, then it's probably not.

The biggest issue with the powerscaling is that people use physics to gauge the strength of a character but the author didn't intend to use physics literally, laws of physics are more of a suggestion
The laws of physics are object tho which is why they are much more reliable than the word of an author yk. Perfect example is the flash. One time he saved an entire countries worth of people by running back in force in the split nanosecond that it took for a nuke to go off. The author stated he was going near light speed but such a feat of speed would actually far exceed that speed thousands of times over. Authors do have somewhat a say in the analysis of there story. But they aren’t the end all be all especially if what they are saying is objectively wrong based on what’s shown

For me, the whole "Marial Arts" thing doesn't really matter in most arguments, like unless it something that involves like special attacks or moves like Pressure points or Kenshiro explosive body thing, then it makes little to no different, I mean take Goku for example, even though he was trained to learn over a dozen martial arts, he could still lose to characters who only has maybe a few fighting styles, of course I will admit having power makes a difference, but hopefully you understand when I say "Knowing Martial Arts Is Useless", well, not 100% Useless, but you understand what I mean
I've been practicing martial arts over 20 years and I have tested them, you are so wrong. Martial arts DO play a huge part IF you ACTUALLY have practiced them and didn't fk around. In fact there are real life cases when the MMA was 1st started before even being called MMA that weaker people beat stronger and better people and you can search it on RUclips if they haven't taken down the videos.

Soldier boy doesn't black out when he generates a blast. When he is blacking out from PTSD he loses control and releases the blast in defence. He was able to generate it no problem to kill Crimson.
