She’s the same in person! She spent so much time with me at the Kokoist booth chatting colors and design. She made sure I got everything shipped that got lost in the mail and didn’t make it to the show. Perfect customer service. She really made the experience great.
I like the idea of using black so you can see better where your design is as opposed to clear but when the light hits the design in this video at certain angels, you can see the black coming through the chrome that’s my only issue with the black but otherwise, awesome video. Thank You!!
Hi Kali! We only recommend using ML-01 Thick Black (or any of the Markers Line colors!) because it is a Non-Wipe Gel. Since E-1 Maxi White is not a Non-Wipe Gel, the Chrome Pen will not adhere properly to the nail (which makes it chip much more easily!!) If you don't have the Markers Line, a good substitute will be the Non-Wipe Accessory Bond or the Ultra Glossy Non-Wipe Top Coat. The only difference is that you won't be able to see the design as clearly. KOKOIST USA
@@KokoistUSA Thank you soooo much for responding!! If chrome pen is used with the thick black or the ultra glossy non wipe top coat, then what should go on top to seal it just a layer of ultra glossy non wipe top coat? I have a pressing issue and I am hoping you can help me, when I use nail thoughts milky base coat or peach base coat and cure it for 30-60sec then use ultra glossy top coat and cure it for 60 sec, my nails get soft afterwards. I am not sure if its because I use my hands in the water..dishes, shower, etc but after those chores my nail tip is soft and bends. any advice on how to fix that? Often follows by peeling of the corner of the nail tip.
@@popaki9484 Hi Kali! To seal it, you can use Ultra Glossy Non Wipe Top Coat! As for the issue you are having, how are you prepping the nail? Prepping your nail properly before gel application is one of the most important steps to make sure the gel adheres properly. KOKOIST USA
@@KokoistUSA thanks for the info. No base is needed before ultra glossy non wipe coat over the chrome design? For prepping my nails I make sure I don’t touch any water for few hours prior to doing my nails. I file my nail bed to rough it up and file the cuticle area. I wipe the dust away and then I wipe it down with alcohol 90% I used to use pure acetone. Then I use YN protein bond followed by the nail thoughts base layer then a little thicker amount to give it that arch and shape the nail. The tips end up very sharp because of my nails. I try to cap the end but it’s a bit difficult to do and if I do it it eventually peels off.
Since the gem gel is a much thicker consistency, it will be difficult to get a full coat from it. We usually only recommend using it for accessory parts.
You don’t sell the amethyst Opal? I love that color and Opal! It would have been perfect for me! May try to crest my own lol
Wish I could get the gem gels
I love her attitude in this video it is so adorable and cheerful

Instead of thick black can I use maxi white with chrome pen? Beautiful!

Can you use gem gel as a regular gel polish?

Can you please do a video on how you remove all the nail art you put on?
