- Oh my god!!! I think this sounds so much cooler than the C# standard version. It makes the song feel more like motivation than depression. I also tried to keep it simple with the album art for this one and thought this was pretty good.
Let me know what u guys think!!!

Beautiful song in all tunings higher makes it more depressing, lower makes it heavier.
Higher does not make it more depressing. Makes it more uplifting and motivating
@@callmeJAF agree to disagree
I don't disagree with you that slower is definately heavier. I just think it's heavier and more depressing. They're not mutually exclusive terms. There's a reason "slowed + reverb" is a genre with the sad Bart Simpsons icon @@Bladez07
Higher doesn't make it more depressing. Minor keys do. Major would make it more uplifting. Which there's a channel that did this in a major key and it actually sounds great. 👍👍
MMMBop in drop G: "damn, that's badass."
Just listened to this in my right ear and the C# version in my left ear and it was the most eye opening experience ever, beautiful
If you think about it that turns the whole song into a power chord
@@Elemented A power chord would be C# and G#. F# would make it a perfect 4th.
@@AntechamberAE Oh yea you're right, i didn't have a guitar to double check i kinda just guessed lol
I just did this out of curiosity. It was a bitch to line up but holy shit you are right. It was so good.
@@Elemented easy way to remember is power chords are always just fifths. Fourths have a similar quality to power chords though since they are perfect intervals
It feels like this song was always meant to be played in this tuning. Sounds amazing.
Ablum art picture is kick ass
If this was released in 2024 I hope the cover would look like this
I want it as a Tshirt.
Its just ai sadly
@@droksbeel It doesn't matter, it is still the most 2024 looking thing ever
Better than the original one
This is my favorite song ever. Hearing the different tunings just makes me love it more.
5:05 hits different
this song got 10x better from the vocals to the solos, this and the unforgiven are in my opinion your best ones yet, F# tuning is actually pretty good with songs like this and to live is to die. Thank you for this amazing song man, stay strong.
This is The best uptune yet! The day that never comes f# next!
ok wow those are the cleanest vocals so far
Outro solo sounds sooo beautiful
Thank you. Theses videos you make are amazing feels like I’m listening to Metallica for the 1st time again plus the Art work is beautiful
0:50 wow, thats hits hard
As a musician for 10 years, this is 👌 Respect for this guy.
🎸😭🔥🤝
Wow, that sounds… great! Sounds better than the original tunning - so sick!
The vocal is so perfect, Love it ❤
I've recently been tuning my guitar to F standard: just a half-step up and I have say I'm almost enjoying it more than just E standard. It's crunchier, takes distortion better and has an "Epic" quality that's hard to beat. Cool video!
Switching one gauge thicker strings would achieve the same effect mostly
this is so interesting, i feel like i'm listening it like the way in the old days!
Much more uplifting than the original tuning, well done
This artwork is beyond fantastic
Can barely tell it's AI.
This may actually be one of the best things I have ever heard in my life.
If this isnt what death feels like then I’m not dying
There is a effect that makes James voice sound like that of a ghost... i effing love it!!! ❤
It’s called reverse reverb, it’s actually in the song but can’t be heard to well normally. It’s done by reversing the vocal track, adding reverb, then un-reversing the vocal track. Creates a very nice haunting effect.
@@theshotgunscientists Thank you very much.
this is so powerful
Neverovatna obrada bas mocno, omiljena pesma svaka cast!
Absolute well done with this. Its like seeing yer best friend with a slightly new appearence, I love it. Hot Topic: Id love to hear something like Frantic, Sweet Amber and UnNamed Feeling raised to E minor. Put a snare on there thats lifted from the ...Lightning album, and hear what happens. It could be interesting- those songs in more traditional tunings.
E minor and E flat are not the same thing. E flat is what you meant, it's just a simple note. E minor refers to a scale or a key. I like your idea though, I'd also like to hear the songs you mentioned tuned up with some mixing.
@@Admiral_Mikey I was always sadly a bit rubbish with Theory.😂👍 But yes indeed, Im very eager to hear songs like Sweet Amber and Frantic in E flat, and how the vocals could fit with this tuning. Mix it with a classic Metallica album sound, the results could be very interesting. 👍
lyrics sound amazing
6:12, 5:21
digging the reverse delay on the vocals
It doesn't matter the key, Fade to Black is a masterpiece anyway!
Holy crap I almost cried
Where can I find this beautiful wallpaper ???
i hate ai but these album pictures are amazing. i came for the end solo/harmony part. its my favorite
Its still depressing but that’s what makes it fade to black
This is how i play it on guitar 😅
Took me a while to realise the artwork is moving. Or am I still high?
It's nice, it shows how much a different tuning can affect a song. Anyway, original still far better. I like E flat too.
c# minor goes crazy
i wonder why f# isn't that common of a tuning as opposed to the drop tunings. I guess you can use a capo. F and F# are such nice keys though
For vocalists it’s harder to sing in a higher key it puts a lot of strain on their voice
not to mention the strain it puts on a guitar and its strings, most guitars are not made for that much tension so a special setup is required
Amazing!
Jesus fucking Christ, I think I'm crying. 😢
Hate to say this about a random mix, but this sounds better than the original! 🔥🤘🔥
Will you do some iron maiden songs?
Creeping Death in F# please
He did it
Wow!😢

For an Unfortunate Reason, This Song (Including One, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), and The Unforgiven) Matches/Describes Me and Relates to Me, Because I’m Usually (and Normally) a Teenager Who is Always Angry and Can NOT and NEVER Will Control Her Emotions.
lindo
Should do the unforgiven 2 in this tuning
Please do ride the lightning in f#, that would be soooooo good
Just lost my dog couple days ago this helps rip my doggie ❤

Fade to Grey...
can you do sanitarium
Yes, please keep F tuning instead of C tuning for all tracks, much better.
BTW, this is the best song by Metallica
I remixed and uploaded on my channel a F standard tuning version.
If the Smiths wrote Fade To Black lol
How do you do the art?
He uses AI, he has a video on his channel explaining it if you’re curious to try it yourself.
@@TheMF3721I couldn’t find the video you were regarding is it one a different channel? Could you link the video please 🙏
I remixed and uploaded on my channel in F standard tuning, check that out mate.
Cheers, nice version! Good vocals!

Fade to black nightcore
not so heavy as original
Original is so much better
If Taylor Swift wrote Fade to Black.
?
@@imigi2850 That's what it sounds like when you pitch it up to F#.
Still blows my mind this was written by a 20 year old Jaymz
