We disciples today do not want to wash our feet and Jesus tells Peter that He has to wash him 😊 Jesus loved Peter and was 'protecting him' not with a sword but with water, later with the Holy Spirit and fire (testing of his faith)
Jesus is encouraging us to wash each other's feet for purposes of gratitude Isaiah 52:7 and choosing wisely what to publish

Mark 7:7 But in vain (for nothing) they do worship me teaching for doctrines the commandments (traditions) of men.
It's unbelievable the extent to which the hypocrite will go to justify disobedience to God's Word while pretending to be totally compliant to God's will.
That's why Jesus called them actors or hypocrites.

@@caroleceres I normally download and save the lessons as soon as they are released so that I keep on referring back to the lesson context when am studying in preparation for the Sabbath School class at the church. There are instances when internet is down (in Africa, of course) so I fail to access the lesson. Surprisingly this week’s lesson has no option to download when you click on the dots. That’s what I meant. Good day to you.
