This book had so much potential like it could have been such a good book but it was so 2019 Wattpad coded like we could see every plot coming and it was a bit basic
This makes me so curious about the series as a whole and how the different deadly sins are betrayed. Him being a high key asshole is on brand with him being the king of wrath.... 😭
seeing you love this so much makes me wonder if i read the wrong book because i felt DanteVivian were somehow more bland than AvaAlex except the singing lmao😭😭😭like how tf was dante a businessman but was suddenly torturing people in his living room like a mafia man. I felt it was very insta love like within the 1st 10 pages..they are lusting after each other and vivian acted like she didn't care about money but that was all she talked about w him and chemistry between them omg 404 error not found..plain as white bread. Also the story moved way too fast for my liking, Personally I like when marriage of convenience is a slow burn too. Dante literally felt like an amalgamation of all the mmcs of twisted series (which i think is my biggest issue w ana, she needs to venture out of this bad boy businessman-mafia ish guys) RhysBridget are my fav couple she has written.I also felt some scenes were forced just to make tiktok girlies go googoogaagaa..i wish there was more chemistry..but honestly so happy that you had a great time reading this one..watching you rant about what you like/dislike is always so much fun to watch.💞💞💞 i am most excited about the 3rd book...it's a 2nd chance marriage in trouble..fingers crossed i hope the mmc grovels really well.
You're so valid for your feelings though. There was definitely nothing special about Dante and Vivian... Like literally nothing & they were a forgettable. Maybe the difference was that I didn't utterly hate them and the plot like I did twisted love 😂 So the bar is in literally hell. I wonder why Ana doesn't just straight up write a mafia romance because she keeps blurring the lines like "billionaire" but they always do mafia-esque things. For me, Dante was more believable because there were always legal loopholes & from what I remember, the worst he does physically is beat up Heath but rich people always get away with stuff like that, sadly. also, WTF DOES HE EVEN DO FOR WORK? I agree with both summaries. I didn't get why they liked eachother. There was no real inciting incident to make him like Vivian or make Vivian like him. She just kept emphasizing how hot and rich he was. I'm fine with the tropes, but frustrated with its execution. It's like they just decided to like each other one day. Idk about billionaires, but I did alot of work with 6 and 7 figure Income men and they do not behave like dante unless they're cheating.

I don't really read from ana huang I've tried with twisted games i thought it would be the closest to my interests trope wise but nah i just i couldn't do it, maybe it's because I'm the biggest hater for the rich/extremely privileged people romance like to me it has nothing going on it's never interesting to me it's just a personal thing but i think i tend to enjoy more relatable? kind of books. So therefore thank you for this review you served the tea and saved me the hassle I'm always thankful for that and unrelated but you're glowing it's like you've unlocked a whole new energy recently I'm happy to see it❤.
