As a Raiders fan I can tell you this is he way too low. He should be right before Brady on this countdown. And TBH Carr should not be on the list this year. Even though I hate the Chargers and Rivers there is no denying the dude is a stud and imo should be in the HOF when he decides to hang them up. Going to be fun playing against them this year.
There’s a lot of trash I love to talk about the raiders as a charger fan on game day, but it’s what makes things fun. To see some great games. It’s gonna be and interesting experiment with gruden back. It’s one of those crazy ideas that just might work.

Rivers was only sacked 18 times last year though? And Melvin Gordon had 1,105 rushing yards... how bad could that line really have been?
There were 34 QBs that were sacked more than Rivers last year.
Cousins, Wilson, Stafford, & Tyrod Taylor were all sacked 40+ times and Jacoby Brissett was sacked 50+ times.
I'd say you guys had a pretty damn good O-Line compared to others around the league.

Rivers is top 20 all time imo, but some of the greats don't win. Welcome to heartbreak. He's never gonna win a ring and that's ok. The Charger's front office never realized what type of talent they had and they screwed it up. Rivers is this generation's Marino point blank. Real football fans will recognize his individual greatness.

Very underrated, he took his team to the playoffs and they weren’t building around him LT and Gates. Rivers, Manning and Roethlisberger are all top 30 Quarterback of all time and all from the 2004 draft class. I like Rivers and he has the best accurate arm in football other than Rodgers and Brady. I hope Rivers goes in the hall of fame.

Rivers looks like he's gonna finish top 5 in all stats and he didn't start his first few years because Drew Brees. Imagine he wins some superbowls with this young talented team in LA and all of sudden becomes the GOAT

Rivers, Gates, LT, Vincent Jackson, Malcolm Floyd, Lorenzo Neal, Michael Turner, Sproles, Shawn Merriman, etc etc. Chargers had the most talented roster in the NFL for a couple years, just couldn't get it done. As a lifelong fan, born and raised in San Diego, I hated to see the Chargers go, but I still wish Rivers the best.

As a raider fan, I've always considered rivers as one of the top 3 greatest quarterbacks to have ever lace them then up. He could make every throw and give you everything he's got in a game.
