Welcome to a Revelation Ironman stream I am doing as punishment for… something I don’t even remember. I am playing on Classic Lunatic, and if I get a Game Over, I have to start over from the beginning. The only way I am getting out of Revelation is by beating it.

There's nothing more satisfying than pressing skip in shadow dragon and wondering where Lena and Caeda disappeared to.
@@memeteam8274 I am aware, but the general principle behind it is the same, at least to me. In either case, he'd end up with a dead unit and was not there to see it happen.
I think the main issue with this run was not all the misplays, or the level ups... Or just Subaki being Subaki, it was purely a gap in terms of skill.

I like Revelation even thought it's a bad game
And for a great recommendation, there is a Fates Rev mod made by a guy called Azure named Silent Waves which changes Rev's story and map desing to be closer to CQ or just more fun in general, it's currently made up to Ch 24 and the story is incomplete, but it is worthy taking a look at it
It is really good his team has put in a lot of great work. I'm working on one myself but its still not close to release.

I feel like revelation should be more similar to conquest then birthright, as you have all the broken units in both routes and grinding

Your iron man’s are the best. I would enjoy if you started at the first game and just ran through all of them in order and played for all routes available. Ex, two sacred stones runs for both routes.

Despite all the Well deserved Criticism Rev has, I still enjoyed this series and the gameplay quite a bit. I think it''s complete BS that people had to pay 20$ for this route though apart from being added on to The base 40-60$ games (there were some stores scummy enough to make Conquest or Birthright more expensive). My brother bought the special edition for 100$ (Shipping included), so I actually got to experience rev a bit early before it's official release.

I was not a fan of Fire Emblem Fates. At all.
Sure the gameplay was good but to me, my biggest problem is the localization. The localization was a complete fucking mess. I can't stress enough how annoying it was how a game like this got bogged down. It was bogged down hard. Birthright was easy, yeah. Conquest was a challenge. Truly. Revelation though... holy crap. What went wrong. I blame Nintendo treehouse for how bad the localization was because jeezus christ.
I had no idea you got copyrighted for a 6 second clip. RUclips must really be fucked in the ass. But this... god damn. You went through hell with this game. Pure and utter hell.

@@elpopman2055 I know. The writing was just awful. Purely awful. Like I said, I blame Nintendo treehouse because Nintendo got really censor heavy in the 2010s.
The original story is almost the same, except for BR
Most of the changes in CQ were regarding Xander's character(He's a waaaay better characters in both JP BR and CQ, the "justice is an illusion" speech is very different too and points out how none of the sides are fighting for justice since in war there is no true justice) JP Rev mostly only has a different symbology, the Vallites are called demons a lot of the times and they can only appear in places with water (the localization never mentions It)
If you want to see all changes there is a post on Tumblr from Himbo Lover which shows every change from Fates localization in every route
And there is a mod called "Fire Emblem Fates Retranslation" which is the most accurate way to play the original translation (it adds some content from the Crown Of Nibelug manga and playable Lilith too), however, the mod decided to add a non polemic Soleil S support too(If you don't get bothered by this factor, it's the closest you will have)

I believe that this ironman made me to subscribe. Before i watched your videos sometimes but with Rev season 1 i become a regular. Great series i was a little sad when it was finally over.
The only thing I can said that revelation sorts worth it is the cross-nohr and Hoshido supports and maybe the sandbox element of the route.
Also I wish revelation was more like conquest with both map desgin and difficult. I mean you have all the broken units for both side and grinding so be this cakewalk.

Jokes aside I uncritically like fates and go back to it alot whenever I go to play a fire emblem game
*shows Sakura as being a bad berserker* Excuse? She has a better Strength growth and cap than her elder sister, and better than both her brothers as a Berserker, she's actually dope as hell as one. Heck, she's honestly better than even Charlotte, since her Def and Res growths are better than her's, and Sakura can actually hit things.

Revelation gotta be one of the worst written games in the series
I still think Revelation is better than Birthright. At least it's memorable while Birthright is a big Nothing Burger.

Rev can be boring or fun (honestly it depends a lot in how much you like shipping emblem, wacky classes decision and training bad units lol), but at least it has some good moments

Mangs If you were a writer how would you fix the story of Fire Emblem Fates? For me?
1: Kamui/Corrin Dragon Heritage in Dragon form is more relevant in story
2: Garon not Being an possessed corpse.
3: Nation of Hoshido has their own skeletons
4: Queen Arete and Kimg Sumeragi is Alive.
5: Severa, Owain, and Inigo having a real relevance in the story or not being included at all.
6: Corrin and Azura we're never kidnapped instead they were simply exchanged between the Royal Family's to strengthen the relations
7: Arete became much more popular becoming instrumental in putting an end to the concubine Wars and the treacherous concubines.. this is how she's solidified her role as Queen.. displaying a strategic mindset and ruthlessness in the court...
9: Corrin getting a dragon humanoid based class...
10: Ananklos being' one of the original dragons.. Not Only had Army Dead soilders.. But Also Control am army of Feral Elder Dragons that originally loyal to him before He Settled in the Isolated Kingdom.

Honestly, there are few story elements in this game that are conceptually bad (it’s mainly just wasted characters like Arete), and most of the problems come from ideas being underdeveloped or badly executed. Even Anankos is only bad because he is written as pretty much the sole reason the war is happening, rather than a subtle, insidious influence taking advantage of existing tensions.

still hate the crafting system the idea is nice but the execution is so badly why cant i drop + weapons from enemys no take 5 hours to craft them
