Welcome to my Ironman run of Radiant Dawn. The rules for this run are simple, any units lost are gone forever and if I get a game over for any reason, the run is over, though I might re-start from scratch if the run hasn’t gone on for long. I will be playing on Hard Mode with a New Game+ unlocked so I can get bonus characters. I will make an exception for the Ironman rule for certain chapters where some Green Units can cause a Game Over without me being able to do anything about it (like Ranulf in 3-P), if this happens I will restart the chapter.

To me the Tellius runs ends are worthier than the Elibe ones. Binding Blade run was a hot flaming mess from chapter 4, it was a miracle that Mangs made it to the throne room, and Blazing Sword he lost to a incredibly unlucky RNG that ruined an otherwise great run despite his failures, he was simply on point.
However, both times Elincia died, he wasn't just paying enough attention. He lost in PoR because God knows why at 25+ chapters he just decides to try and rescue a mounted unit, and in RD he had the attention span of a goldfish and forgot he had used Reyson a mere 40 seconds before.
I truly felt sorry for the FE7 run, and was really cheering for him on FE6, but the Tellius games went down the drain because of brilliant Mangs Moments LOL

To be fair you have to remember that Mangs is kind of color blind and it's kind of hard to tell the difference between used and unused super bird at the best of times.
If we get that remark they were talking about it'd be great if they you know addressed that.

Not counting everyone else that does but old man green unit will continued to be mourned for his contributions to the army.
Wow... Mangs lost the 2nd Tellius Iron Man because of the very same character who died in Path of Radiance... and again, by a bogus move (I'm amazed he managed to get that far, considering the Dawn Brigade battles being very difficult overall).
Now, to be fair... he lost two runs to the Dawn Brigade chapters earlier, haha
To be honest, he got an early reset and then played rather conservatively... right until the last stream where he started to make mistakes.... with Mangs it's often like that, when he makes a mistake he kinds of panics or looses composure and often the mistakes pile up.

That Deadly Queen edit was unexpected but a welcome surprise. Rhys should be the MVP, he survived a Mangs run.

I still can't believe that Rhys and Laura managed to survive the ironman while EDWARD, out all his units, died.
It kind of makes sense that someone who sees more combat is more likely to die while Rhys and Laura are supposed to stay far from the combat in the first place.
He was also overextending Edward by using resolve strats in an *ironman playthrough*
If you haven't noticed Mangs in general gets careless when he has a high stat character and gets them killed. He actually does best when his characters are weak as he is forced to play well.

@@sauce4279 honestly he only made a few mistakes this entire run, some characters got killed by punishes, but alot of them got killed via rng and enemies not being predictable, its happened to me.
but i can say i have never put a flier in range of a stationary crossbow, yes i've gotten fliers killed by moving crossbows, but thats not quite as bad as forgetting he already used Reyson so he set up a dance formation.
He put her there so she could dance for her in a addition to the last unit that had already moved. A mistake, but it makes sense why he did so.

That is why you don't depend on dodge tanking to survive in a iron man. Heck just watched Fergus die in the Fe5 playthrough for similar reasons.
@@boredomkiller99 No that's not mangs fault that should have worked. there was one universe in 50,000 where that didn't work and you really can't blame mangs for taking those odds. you CAN blame him for not taking literally one minute to calc out the hit rates
Result is Godward is still dead because 12% is still 1/10 chance which is a lot higher then it seems.
@ boredomkiller99 Godward got hit twice. If I use the stats you used, that means he must have been hit by two 12% to die. In other words, he had about a 12% x 12% chance of dying in total. Dodge tanking is pretty reliable with the right units in general but Mangs just got RNG screwed.
@@peggyesculpavit-dupret2945 clearly not reliable enough since Godward is dead. Seriously even without the ballista Godward would have had to dodge multiple 50% hit tiger attacks. He dodge one but got hit by the other and those hurt. This is not Mangs getting RNG screwed it is Mangs getting punished for using resolve strats on Edward. Resolve works best with bulky and tanky units.

Funny thing is, Mangs had a really good chance of completing the run. But he had to fuck up at crossbow guy.
