The game is a prequel to the first Gears of War. The story follows Gabe Diaz (the father of Kait Diaz, the protagonist of Gears 5), who embarks on a secret mission with fellow Coalition of Ordered Governments soldier Sid Redburn to assassinate Ukkon, a Locust scientist who is involved in breeding dangerous monsters for the Locust horde.

I think it’s sad that Diaz thought he was saving his soldiers by leaving them in the bunker but he was dooming them

If he brought them, they possibly would have been killed by the grubs or the Hammer of Dawn strikes. Hard to say which is worse.
If they couldn't hold position there I doubt they'd survive with gabe on the streets. Didn't seem like he was gone too long either

@@steelbear2063 Diaz clearly has something similar to SpecOps experience. You don't get to report straight to the head of state as a regular soldier, even in a somewhat devastated society like GOW. Others in the motor pool are insinuated to be more like reserves.
This game held important details that wasn't explained in the original narrative in the previous games. I like where the storyline is headed and I'm glad we got to see more of Kait's backstory.

To be honest it’s fucking pointless to block curse words on RUclips gears of war has always had a curse words the game is rated M for a reason which is why I immediately stopped watching this video it’s not worth my time it just feels wrong without curse words🤦♂️

Really enjoying the GoW lore being more fleshed out in games and not just the books. It’s starting to shape up into a full fledged world.

That is true I can’t wait to play gears of war six however it’s been confirmed by the coalition studios del is dead the true ending is when you pick JD to live and del’s neck is snapped this may sound harsh but I’m fucking glad he is dead he became an asshole and never bothered to give JD a second chance he kept on whining like a little bitch😡🖕 at least Kait and uncle Baird gave him a second chance to redeem himself🤦♂️

Anthony Carmine_123 They burned most of the planet’s surface to ash then proceeded to abandon those whom survived to the mercy of the Locust horde. It’s not exactly unreasonable for them to think the COG suck.
@Aten Industries Yeah I definitely see where the sentiment comes from what with how terms like Fascism have become a largely meaningless buzzword to throw around at anything or anyone you don't like. Or how the newer games treating the COG as either a joke or an obstacle to be worked around is to disregard all that they did in the previous games to insure that humanity survived.
But I honestly don't feel like that's what they where going for in tactics as all three main heroes have rather fair and legitimate reasons for why they feel the way they do about the COG ranging from mistrust due to being left to die, weariness over the rather callous disregard for the lives of their men, and a desire to unveil the true about just how deep the corruption runs within the COG administration.
This game reminds me of the 2 HALO wars games. Great stories, but difficult gameplay

They made it into a turn-base game like X-COM, then your usually third person shooter. Not bad, I'm just used to the third person shooter, but this looks cool

They technically retconned the lore of the Corpsers and Brumaks. As far as my memory serves, those monsters were native animals of the Hollows. Ukkon shouldn't have made them.

I love how the plot of this is basically a Terrans' only version of Starcraft II with half the intelligence and even less emotional range for the leads.
Brilliant stuff GLP as usual, You never let your fans down. This was a great Game Movie to keep us all occupied for a while during this lockdown crap. Thanks a lot for all the work that goes into these gameplays. Please keep them coming & all involved stay safe :-)

Technically yes & no, some children were mutated by imulsion & some creatures from underground& they basically became sires from Gears 2 & Myrah had unique dna so they used her blood to make super soldiers but they became locusts

Yeah, it’s actually a medallion used to identify members of the fringe group responsible for creating the Locusts. After escaping Myrrah took it and made it the emblem of her people to serve as a mocking reminder of their origins and how humanity had only itself to blame for their destruction.
The story was really good better than 5 in my opinion, the characters were actually pretty good and likeable no agenda pushed no nothing just a good gears story just one thing that I didn't like was the rpg gameplay I wish it was like the others

I think new hope facility didn't make locust, they made sires by fusing humans with imulsion so ukkon is kinda of upgraded sire! And locust are creatures who live in hollow beneath sera! Remained unguided unless they have queen I dont know why is that??!So Dr niles is the main evil in the whole franchise he released queen myrrah tought her power by using mitriach and ambushed kait to wake the new queen and defy COG orders to make medicine for rustlung for his dark games and experiments.
The story of this franchise still have so many unanswered questions I wish they made locust having their own queen and king from their species and talk like ukkon it adds nice status to them instead human queen and they want to invade the surface of sera because of imulsion killing them as simple as this without the complexity of human queen and new hope facility.
