Complete the mission objectives set forth by the Company, and make it back to the Drop Pod in time to try your luck at even more deadly and lucrative encounters. Progress deeper and deeper into the planet while you grow ever stronger, survive all the way to the very end of your assignment, and finally get extracted alongside your hefty sack of loot.

I think the reason why the floors past 5 feel so short is because your damage is already very high and you kill so many bugs. I don't think the progress bar for the floor is just based on time - I think it's also based on how many bugs you've killed. You can see it doesn't progress smoothly but in jerks.

I know it does and I already accounted for it. I was not killing considerably faster than stage 4 in a lot of runs and it still feels a lot faster starting on 6. It is consistently the same feeling starting stage 6 in each of these 10 stage runs 🤷‍♂️

the acid effect? they actually toned down the opacity and effects, which was needed - but to 'balance' it out, they now allow the effect to stack, so whenever you get more than 2 instances on the ground it looks like the toxic avenger's puke.

The acid is more vibrant than it was before. But I think all they did was enhance the acid on the ground and not the bubbles. Either way, it looks good to me.

They are for meta upgrades in the main menu (more base mining speed, damage, etc.), but I already finished all of that
