It's good that this season has more content added than the last, as the devs said its the last major update before rogue core releases, where they'll release S6.

Technically they do overheat, but they recover from overheating in like 1 second. You just need to let go of the spacebar instead of holding it down nonstop like a dead person.
@@DrDevvi you can dig the rocks that covers the core stone, exposing it faster and saving you time and health (probably) and allowing you to finish the event faster
Don’t worry about the modified jet boots (the ones for escaping) overheating in the Deep Scan Mission, they basically immediately cool down after overheating. (You probable know this already though, considering how late this comment is)
The long wait is gonna help them make both releases better and work on applying hotfixes, it also lets them avoid crunch. It’s a long wait but worth it for both the players and devs!
