I feel the same way like I just have a hard time relating to makeup tutorials on flawless skin and honestly I noticed that I would compare myself to others and just end up feeling super shitty. Sooo many people struggle with acne I think the conversation around it needs to reflect that

i just found this video and i love love love your positivy, been striggling with ache since puberty. now i‘m 20, i had better and worse weeks but it just won‘t fully heal and that‘s okay. Ache doesnt change your face proportions or your face features, so you‘re still beatiful and everyone should start believing that acne is as normal as the „clean glass skin“
for me the „ CLEANANCE COMEDOMED ANTI-BLEMISH CONCENTRATE“ from Avène really helps. My skin doctor suggested it

How long did it take to clear up?
@@kashhere4778 for me I'd say it took me about 2-3 months to get my active breakouts under control. It was really cystic acne that started in late february and finally started clearing up at the end of April/May. I am definitely still getting acne but it's not nearly as painful. Now i'm just trying to heal my dark marks that are left over from the blemishes

you are so beautiful!!! what helped me get rid of scarring and hyperpigmentation is a good vitamin C serum. I use the Holi C powder by Agent Nateur... you can mix it with water or a toner/serum. i like this because in powder form it is more stable and less prone to oxidization and turning bad quickly. good luck on your healing journey :)

You are so gorgeous with or without makeup. Love your vibe. I got a prescription for tactupump. It got rid of my acne in 6 months. And now I just use prescription Retin A every night for maintenance as its so cheap compared to tactupump. But tactupump was the best. I highly recommend tactupump. Tactupump has benzoyl peroxide and tretinoin so it works both for acne and the acne scars at the same time. And please be patient. It does get worse before it gets better. If you're only looking to get rid of your acne scars then Retin A is fine :)

I had Acne in my teens, and was put on Roaccutane. It changed my life. I just have the odd spot now. I only use Non Comdogenic products, nothing heavy or greasy. Have you tried the Red and Blue light therapy devices, they blue light kills the bacteria, the red light regenerates skin cells. Some people with acne put far to much makeup on and it looks cakey. You didn't, and your makeup looked nice.

Don't be self-conscious!!! I know it's easier said than done but just remember that EVERYONE breaks out. And also remember that you are your own worst critic. If you feel self-conscious about something 9 times out of 10 other people can't even notice it. You're brilliant, bright, and beautiful ✨

Girl thank you for this video. Thank you for your whole existence. We are damn near the same person, I relate to your whole vibe & everything you say in this video lol. I wish you were closer to me (I live in Indiana) & I wish I had a friend like you. It would probably save my life tbh. I’m 25 & I deal with cystic/hormonal acne. It makes me feel like shit about myself & I always think about how pretty I would be if it wasn’t for one fucking thing, my horrible/disgusting skin.
Then I look at you & realize that even though you have acne like I do, even with the redness & bumpy texture, I still think you’re beautiful.
My skin has been something I absolutely hate myself for & something I’ve fought with for years. It has totally ruined the way I look at myself, my social life, and made my depression worse than it’s ever been in my entire life. I ALWAYS feel ugly as fuck when I don’t have foundation on. I just don’t feel normal - because I don’t see anyone else that has acne like me too often. But you give me hope & made me realize that maybe I’m not that disgusting looking as I think I am, I’m probably just too hard on myself, because I have almost identical skin to yours & honest to god I don’t see you as ugly or disgusting without makeup. You’re beautiful, with or without your pimples covered.
Thank you for sharing this video. You have hella courage (well compared to me anyways) for letting people see your bare skin. I wish I had your confidence but maybe one day I will because you give me hope.

I decided that i would understand my acne.. And i completely cut out sugar and dairy.. N switched to minimal face wash.. Im seriously seeing a difference now...

What has really been helping me is the cystic acne luminosity skincare kit. Expensive but less expensive than the prescriptions my dermatologist was prescribing me that my insurance wouldn’t cover. I struggle with moderate genetic acne that gets worse around my period. My skin type is normal to oily. I’m sure you know this but you are still beautiful with your acne. I couldn’t stop looking at your teeth and your eyes. I’m curious now girl what is your sun sign lol?

Acne is a reflection of what’s going on inside the body. Something is off and our body is trying to tell us. It can be diet, lack of nutrients or even an imbalance in our micro biome. I’m still trying to figure it out- trial and error.

It's alright but yeah it has destroyed my self worth and my mother made fun of my acne :'(
I wish I had advice, I have seen doctors, been on multiple medications, spent thousands on therapies, expensive skin care products I have done it all. I’m 31 and I still have pimples, scars, all of it. I honestly think it’s just luck (unless you smoke meth then it’s the meth 😂) you either are lucky and don’t get, or you’re unlucky and get them for your adult life!
