I’ve really enjoyed your adventures! You inspired me to by my Toyota Tacoma with canopy, and a 16’ Airstream. I’m just turning 77 this summer and in like the amenities…..shower, toilet, etc. and living in the PNW the shelter from nasty rain storms. Just saying thanks for the inspiration to “keep on truckin’ “ regardless of your age!👍

Something big planned, like maybe driving from Panama to Columbia via the Darien Gap? 😜 I have a tip for salmon, if you ever get so much you get tired of it. Put your favorite sauce on it, I like sweet teriyaki, bake it at 350 for 20 minutes then turn the heat down low (120° to 170° F and let it dry out for a day or two until it becomes salmon jerky. I used to be a commercial fisherman and ate lots of salmon. Once we started doing this it became the default choice. I only eat it once or twice a year any other way now. The jerky is good for months and can go at least a week without refrigeration.
    Thanks for the video Mav!

Best salmon I've ever made so far was cooked on a cast iron Hibachi while camping. Used aluminum foil to create a dual-chamber "oven" to make baked salmon fillet with a sweet Vidalia onion glaze and a steamed vegetable medley. Used a stainless pot over a wood fire to make garlic/basil rice pilaf. Other campers were making hot dogs and hockey-puck frozen hamburgers and looking over with envious eyes.

Happy about your friend getting his first boat. I have family that live in Michigan on Lake Superior. Haven't been up there for years but the summers on the Lake that was sooo huge it looked like the ocean, were just epic! Lol. I was just blown away with the whole place. We did alot of water skiing and alot of fishing and running through the trails in the woods with all my cousins. We were all in our 20s and just had such fun. When I go to visit we will do a road trip and hit your friend up to take us out. Great video. Keep on doing your thang my friend. Keep on truckin'❤.

You should look into getting some protection film for the windshield. It'll act as a sacrificial layer that you can scratch and mar up and taking hits from rocks. exoshield is one of the better ones.
