I see them in Seattle Sunday. Im pumped! Saw Bauhaus last year and they were life-changing. How is it that those 2 bands still deliver while others of their generation can't
Come on. They were great in the 80's... but that was 40 yrs ago... and they weren't young then. The voices are shot and the brains are addled from years of touring and partying. They can barely get up and lip synch through their old hits let along record new material. :)
Major screw up there in the second verse … Daniel started singing too early, then the live back-up singer tried to catch up to him, then the recorded back-up vocals kicked in and well, next verse lol … I just saw them at the Ace in DTLA, they sang this perfectly there.
The bass is too loud and the 2&4 backbeat is too quiet. Also, it sounds like he changed the bass line from the original and it makes the whole band sound out of tune. All these factors make it sound like the drummer is playing "behind the beat".
@@tcr4451 I do agree, it does sound like he is delaying the 2 & 4 backbeats too much. It's just the other things I mentioned -- the bass being too loud and the band being out of tune definitely do not help. Listen to when the 1st verse vocals come in -- they are way out of tune. Even if the drummer was playing less behind the beat and more on top, it would not save this performance as a whole, in my opinion. Doesn't mean it's something they can't fix for future performances and I hope they do -- I really like this band!
@@stevendelavaux1426 No, she doesn’t. She’s an industry puppet who knew three chords and how to stay on key, nothing special about her. Sorry to give you the news.
Awesome that they had real backup singers instead of a track!

Gen x bands, baby!
I guess pigs have started flying. Daniel Ash said a few years ago he'd get back together with Love and Rockets "when pigs fly."
When you need $ you'll do things you wouldn't when you got plenty.
Cheers for videos,much appreciated

I was standing in front of the screen on the right. Great show!
😍
the sound mix is off in this section. Was better towards the center.
Please turn up Danny's monitor. He clearly can't hear the key.
See ya in Atlanta...

Poor audio
Drummer trying to play much too far behind the beat on 2&4.
It sounds on time to me. Even if they are bit off shit man it still sounds good for their age. They are still going strong

@Music Head No, he's playing behind the beat on 2 & 4. Not constantly; mostly in the first half of the song.

Gen X has the best music. Deal with it.
Your ageism is showing. You need to get it through your thick skull is that ageism is as ugly as sexism and racism.
Cry about it. You probably think Taylor Swift actually makes music.
