I'd change attacker to a more traditional adc auto attack role and make a mage role to compensate. Plus I'd make unite licenses have multiple colors (Scyther/Scizor for example) to have the background split diagonally showing both possibilities

@@tommygenesisenthusiast i agree that there's really no reason to make a categorical change. i do however feel the need to point out that 5 roles is not "core" to the design of the game as not every role is, nor needs to be, represented in every match.
To answer question of the day: I would increase the HP/Defenses of all defenders but lower their attack A TON. Most defenders do way too much damage and are the only class that can get 100k stats in damage taken, given, and potentially recovered. Specifically Blastoise, Trevenant, Lapras, Goodra, Crustle
Regarding the question you asked in the video Jake, I guess I would simply created the Tormenter role. A role that features supporter pokemon that just use hindrances, harassing moves or easy to say trouble-maker pokemon (no pun intended). Pokemon that can be inside the Tormenter role are mr. Mime, greedent, sableye and wigglytuff,
That's basically what they are. They exist so you can suffer, even if you're on their team. *cough* greedent *cough*

So pretty much bro you just told me you don't either play support and defender or know how those roles work😅. These characters and others do a really good job at harassing the enemy team with CC and hindrance moves. Unfortunately the community at large doesn't like to play these roles in solo. Everyone in every game believes that they can just carry the team and the enemy team will simply bend back over 😂. Also the community tends to bitch more often about "broken" characters so the Dev's cater to them.

I think the role that needs to be changed the most is support. They are treated like defenders imo with how many hindrances they are given when they could apply more buffs and debuffs instead. It's like most supports are built as a defender that can heal allies, giving almost no differences between the roles, however this change would give use to more support mons. Healing supports are so good because defenders just completely outclass stun supports due to doing their job but better. Mime, Blissey, and Eldegoss are great example of what a support should be, removing some of the stuns on Mime's moves and getting rid of the stun on cotton spore and egg bomb, replacing it with some sort of debuff instead. Making this change would also create a great role to balance the number of stuns in this game and counter cc comps by being able to reduce stun times or completely ignore some like safeguard blissey. (Also an example of what NOT to do... Umbreon snarl)

6:00 I would change the speedster role; make it more focused on scoring and survivability in group fights.
Why does a Defender deal more damage than All Rounders and Attackers with a move? Just so everyone knows, while in Rapid Spin, Water Spout will hit for a total of 17 times. At Lv. 7 (when you have both moves), you're dealing about as much damage as a Lv. 11 Gardevoir's Psyshock. And that's not taking into consideration the 10 hits from Rapid Spin itself, just the 17 hits from Water Spout.
Defenders are so overpowered and it's not like they only deal high damage they also have a ton of health (some even have hp restoration lol)🤦
Fusion Roles make the most sense
Change a role? Hmm, I'm not sure, maybe make supporters buff rather than heal? They could make defenders deal less damage but I don't really want that, by the way blink Buzzwole would be eject button I'm guessing.
I would add a new role out of support called disruptors and put Greedent, Sableye, Mime, and Wiggly into it.

Hey spragles, I reached 1400 master yesterday but now it's showing that I don't have 14 or more unite licenses even tho I have 15! Now it's not allowing me to play rank matches 😢 Is it glitch or something?

If I were to change one of the roles, maybe it would be to expand the supporter role? Since some fall under healing and some fall under hindering/buffs, maybe there could be two different types of support.
Can't believe I never thought of the amp, usually just run resonant guard in that slot but will be doing this for a bit tomorrow 😂
To change the style of game, I would go with the Pokemon stuff and I mean that the super effective and resistances would make sense in the game

I’m not spragels but as a surf pump enjoyer let me tell you what items I use.
Slick spoon and focus band are a fixed choice for me, and for the third item I choose either exp. share or energy amp depending on my teammates. Sp. Atk. Specs are also a good option but i don’t use them because i’m not good at stacking.

All-Rounder just seems very vague to me. I know with Attacker being a ranged damage focused character it should mean All-Rounders are melee damage focused characters. Mostly it would just be a name change. Brawler maybe?

Honestly i would split attackers into 2, ADC's deserve their own category imo. Theyre just too different to mages in my eyes, and lumping them together into the same group has never felt right to me

Speedsters need to be more viable. Whether it's an item for them, or just generally more hp. I groan every time someone locks one in.

I wish speedsters had more incentive to score. i dont remember the last time i had a speedster on my team w more than 100 cap points (unless it was a ray landslide at the end) maybe they get a small shield when trying to score/successfully score I dunno but how am i a crustle scoring more than zoroark
If they're doing their rotations, they're coming to a lane with a lot of points and will only be able to score if they can chase away the Pokemon on the other team. When I'm in the Jungle, I'm mostly coming down to help secure farm and help them protect base or push, but I'm not pushing by myself and I'm certainly not scoring 30+ points unless we chase away the enemy. You also don't want to overstay your welcome in a lane if you are a jungler, which speedsters often are. You need to stay a high level on your team to remain valuable and your goal is to help your bottom and top paths win their fights and secure farm (for levels).
@fluffymonster396 no I agree 100% but that's not how most players play speedster unfortunately & it makes it quite hard to keep up on scoring if the fast jungle pokemon aren't doing that part. Also just entertaining the sprag video Q. I think there could be a fun option of a speedster who does less damage but it wayyyy better at scoring. Zoroark, MeowSc, Absol, Dodrio can all get some pretty insane damage off - better than some all around or attack pokemon in the right hands. I think the goal for those mons is to keep moving & score & less focus on dealing combo damage like blaziken. Let the attackers do that part- speedsters bait/chase & score & they can get a little score cushion for doing that.

Attacker: Separate the “ADC” and “mage” roles. Attackers will have more damage on their autos but less damage on their abilities.
Caster: The new “mage” role. Keep them how they are.
Speedsters: For fks sake, give them more SPEED. They aren’t that much faster than other roles, making the idea of them really confusing and it’s why they are the least used role. Make them faster.
All-rounders: Keep
Defenders: Increase health, decrease damage significantly. No reason a defender should EVER get 100k damage. Make them bulkier but less damage output.
Support: Every supporter should have a new team buff feature. Depending on your team’s support mon, your team fights could look much different.
Supports are actually the least used role

This is so disingenuous , when you have a comfey attached to you for the team fights you are of course going to sustain longer and as a result deal more damage. Without comfey it does not work as good as you suggest in the intro.
trust me this thing is still busted without a comfey🗿

Surf hyrdro punp does too much damage both builds need damage nerfs
The only problem with surf hydro pump is not just the stuns but also the high damage
You can have above 90k with just spoon and other defense items on surf blastoise but i think water spout doesn't need a damage nerf like you can never play it against buzz and it mostly doesn't work without stacks unless all the enemy team are squishy.
I wish they remove all the point click from the games (looking at u glaceon)
You trippin. Just because one pokemon does decent damage doesn't mean it needs nerfs. You just don't know how to deal with it. If somebody needs nerfs, its Trev and maybe Goodra

I guess I would change the speedester role and support role. Speed should have more pve damage and support needs some kind of "helping hand" and/or CC protection item (like an item that only support can use)
