Welcome back to Yogi's Garage, where our beloved Porsche 911 has undergone quite the transformation! In this final episode of our restoration series, we're giving the 911 its finishing touches. Dive into the process as we:
Lower the suspension to get that sleek, grounded look.
Add wheel spacers for a widened stance, amplifying its already impressive presence.
Bring a pop of color by repainting the brake calipers in a striking red.
It's been an incredible journey restoring this beauty, and I couldn't be more proud of the results. As we conclude this series, stay tuned for the next phase. The 911 is heading to the body shop for a wrap that promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Thank you for joining me on this DIY adventure. If you've missed any parts of the series, be sure to check out the playlist. And as always, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to Yogi's Garage for more car restorations and tech insights!

Great video!! Used those same springs on my 997.1. Been contemplating suspension upgrade for some time. Does the setup you used allow you to keep PASM?

It shouldn’t be a problem. However I’d confirm for heavy track use. Thanks for watching!

Great video. I was thinking about spacers as well. What do you think of 15 mm front and back?

I think you’re pushing it with 15mm. I personally wouldn’t go more than 12mm in the back and 14mm in the front. Thanks for watching!

.. i got an Mk.1 base Carrera cab with 19" 997 Lobsters.. Think ill add only 10 or 12mm spacers at the front only. Likely 10mm. Then lower it as Yogi did this one.

How’s the ride quality on that suspension setup? I’d like to drop mine and space it too, but really wouldn’t want to stiffen it up much more than stock.

It depends on the shocks you’re running but you should expect a slightly stiffer ride however not much. More importantly you should expect improved handling.

Love your videos! They have helped me a lot with my 2002 Carrera Cabriolet. One question - where do you get your Poorsche t-shirts? I need one as it certainly applies to my experience!

Thanks! Actually Yogi-mama made them. She has a couple of machines that can transfer things like that to shirts or towels, etc.

No wonder I’m having trouble finding them. There’s a few out there, but yours are very good. Kudos to Yogi-Mama!
