You have to love Galway and all its charm, From our beautiful coastline to our cozy pubs. In my opinion, the west is the best.❤😉 We had a fun time making this weeks video but my god, the sun is intense the last few weeks ….. my Irish ☘️ brain 🧠 doesn’t function well with too much UV exposure. We’re not built for this weather.😅😅 Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this weeks video and sure give us an ould Like & subscribe for the craic. 😉 🍻 👍 🫶
Of course you're beautiful and so pretty, love your natural redhead super cute. I'm from Australia and with my husband we are trying to come over your wonderful country and I'm interested by Galway cause I want to get to the university of Galway. PS: my husband being born and lived 43years of his life till now in Canberra the Australian capital and he thinks it's the best country and city but for him he tries to hide it from people so no one would come over . Great insights thank you 😊❤❤❤❤❤ pretty cool to See the Australian flag in your video 😊
Wow! It's really helpful!! I am planning to go working holiday next year with my sister and her husband. Goooooood to know that there are so many events in Galway🎉 Especially music and theatre!!
Love the video, you guys are fun. Coming to Galway from Atlanta, Georgia, USA in a couple of weeks, will be there almost a month, hope to see you on the streets somewhere!
Hi Iggy 👋 I was in Atlanta with my Dad a few years ago. We had an awesome time, really nice spot. We’re delighted to hear you’re coming to visit the Emerald Isle and fingers crossed that the weather will be good for your visit. 🌞 ☘️
discovered your channel today an I really enjoy it. I am planning to move to Ireland, Galway more specifically in November so your videos are very helpful. On a binge session right now.
What a lovely video. Thanks so much, guys. I lived in Galway for a year in 2012 and it‘s still my happy place. I think when people outside of Ireland think of ‘Ireland‘, Galway and Connemara come pretty close to their expectations. As for the bus drivers, I remember them being super friendly back in 2012. I took a bus to Lidl once a week to buy my groceries and after a few weeks, the bus driver knew me and would ask about my week and actually help me get the heavy bags off the bus on my way back. Only knowing German bus drivers up to that point, I was amazed and told everyone back home about the friendly bus drivers in Galway. But listening to you guys, maybe I should stop doing that…😅 Thanks for the trip down memory lane, guys! ❤
I enjoyed this! Ill pop over to patreon when we're finsihed renovating. At the moment all the funds get sunk into that at the mo. The 5 year old extorted one of those icecreams last week which is the first time I've let him loose in Galway city since Christmas 😂 He's figured out where Smyths is now so my current expenditure is house>Smyths>Icrecream going by this week 😢😂
@@curlyginger215 don't be daft. That fella gets more in ice-cream money per week than I made for my communion 😅 thank you though, I'll tell him a RUclipsr wanted to buy him ice-cream and he'll be delighted. Then I'll tell him I said no so he'll think up a suitable compensation I'm sure 😆

Would you please tell me how can I get good 1 room apartment for daughter, who is starting to study in Galway on 1. September. Thankyou in advance. 🙏🏾💐
Hi, i like your videos! I'm also planning to move to Ireland with my husband and son 😃 I would like to know something about the renting situation. Is it possible to rent a fully equipped flat, with furniture, kitchen elements etc. or most of the accommodations there are empty and the renter needs to buy everything? Or if its possible is it a big difference in the monthly payment; empty flat vs. equipped flat?
Irish apartments are generally fully furnished, including crockery and cutlery. Historically, renting a place unfurnished gave the tenant more rights so the place would be furnished to avoid that issue. Currently under the RTB and rent pressure zone rules there would be absolutely no reason to give a tenant a discount for supplying their own furniture. Rents are reasonable compared to other global urban centers but are exorbinant compared to local purchase prices.
If you're in the position to put a deposit down and buy a cheap house the mortgage would be much cheaper than rent. My mortgage is like 30% of what I was paying in Galway city on rent which is absolute madness I know.
@@Corrky A definition I have heard is that the smallest possible town is a village that is just large enough to support two lawyers but too small to support one. It becomes a city once there is no longer any farm/pasture land within its boundaries. By these definitions Galway is a town. My property tax papers refer to it as a city, however. I would never argue with Revenue.
Good video but paying with cash is better that credit card or any card cause if we have no cash then we will not have control over our money on what we buy and everything that is payed by in credit card is recorded and in the future they can block our bank account if we dont do as they say. Remenber cash is king!!!
I agree with them when they talk about the bus drivers, the bus drivers are pure assholes, one bus driver caught me with the door when he was closing it when I was getting off, I was going to give out to him, but he just took off

Agree 100% about bus eireann drivers. One of them closed the luggage side door on my head while I was still getting my suitcase 😂 😂they are so cranky.

🙈😅 Hi Flora 👋 thanks for your message and I’m glad to hear that Galway is still your happy place. ❤️
Thanks for the video. Very informative. Are the apartments in Galway that bad? Just asking because I am considering moving to Ireland
It in general but there are very few of them that are for rent and good at same time.

Are there good gyms in Galway that open early as say 6:00am...
Some of them are opened 24/7
@@Corrky great hope I find one that is affordable and close by... Thanks ...
Damn considered a small city and it has 20 thousand more people than the largest city in my home state in the US😂
Would you please tell me how can I get good 1 room apartment for daughter, who is starting to study in Galway on 1. September. Thankyou in advance. 🙏🏾💐
I cannot unfortunately. You need to be persistent and have some luck. FB groups, web pages, boards in companies - try everything.

Most of them are fully equipped it’s just very hard to gong accommodation currently.
@@Corrkyhonestly the accommodation situation scares me ... I am seriously thinking of moving to Ireland for Anaesthesia residency....

Bro you have any plan for housing 😢
Why do you refer to Galway as a town? Is it not a City?
I honestly don’t know what the difference is, that’s the reason 😂😂
With 80k population it's a town at best. Dublin is the only actual city in Ireland, imho.

I just don’t like it personally to be honest. Just using a phone or a card is so much more practical for me.
I do 50/50 😅 I need a plan B just incase my card payment doesn’t work. 👍

Don't paint all bus drivers in Galway with the same brush. I know some sound guys and girls who drive for BE .
I live with one :)
Majority are good guys, I agree with that. But there are some that paint a very ugly picture.
