Nektar is one of the most underrated bands ever, and not just in prog. Looking forward to the interview and your future album rankings!

Such a great run of albums in the 70’s. The cowbell in crying in the dark gets me every time 😮❤

Awesome review, with Mo, Scot! Totally agree about the production on their albums. Remember The Future sounded amazing on vinyl back in the day, and sounds just as good on CD today. Still need to get A Tab In The Ocean some day... never heard it yet.

Fascinating interview, Scot ! Derek is a very cool chap and this is the first time I’d ever seen or heard from any of the band members. But I just love all the vintage prog bands of the 70’s that flew under the radar. Nektar is easily one of the best of those. And I too discovered them through “ Remember “, back in the early eighties. A college roommate had it on vinyl. And I’m looking forward to seeing your ranking of their discography. 👍

I’m so excited! He’s one of my favorite bassists! I hope you ask about the new album trilogy plan. I’ve never been so hyped for prog (mirror to the sky is a close second)
