Thanks - recently, we started taking Zinc, Vit D, Quercetin, Vit C. My wife's asthma significantly improved, which was a great and unexpected side benefit.
@Yuri R. Thank you. Good to know. From what I can find, the possibility of negative side effects from oral supplementation with quercetin in the usual range of 200 to 2000mg/day is very unlikely.
@Yuri R. Thanks again. I couldn't find a study that states that nor defines what long term use is. Do you have a link to any studies on this? Appreciate you input.
@Yuri R. OK, thanks. This is what I found so far, but I will keep looking - "During a 2-year study conducted by a US-based government organisation called National Toxicology Program, male rats fed 2 g/kg body weight/day of quercetin (corresponding to a dose of 140 g for a 70 kg individual) showed severe chronic nephropathy, hyperplasia and neoplasia of the renal tubular epithelium. At lower doses, from 50 to 500 mg/kg/day, no significant adverse effects were reported. However, parallel studies performed using the same rat model failed to confirm the renal histopathological effects of quercetin. Therefore, the possibility of negative side effects from oral supplementation with quercetin in the usual range of 200 to 2000mg/day is very unlikely."
But not surprising. For example regarding vitamin D, Hancock, when health minister in answer to a question by David Davis MP said that vitamin D had been studied as to its affect against covid and that it had no protective properties. This was a lie and was proved to be such later on. Politicians and their advisers, the "experts" know the science but will never reveal it as they have their own sinister agenda.
I wonder what kind of medical advice people are getting? I live in an extremely liberal part of the country and I have BOTH my eye doctor and primary care physician talk about the benefits of vitamin supplementation. It is just common sense and not ignored in my area. Maybe in rural areas it is considered weak to take multivitamins? I don’t get it, just common sense to supplement unless you are super specific and targeted in your food choice.
@@DougMorley1 the CDC literally has an article about the benefits of vitamin D for viral infections. I don’t know what else you want them to do? Send every person vitamin D supplements?
Dr. Campbell is promoting "Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA)" - warning us against eating too much vitamines, like Media (every year there will be headlines about: - Got sick of vitamines ... always talk with you doctor before you eat pills) and he will be the cause of why there is 59% iodine deficiency in UK.

While taking zinc for longer duration we need to balance Copper as well. Need to keep Zinc :Copper ratio around 20:1 for every 20 mg of zinc we need 1 mg of copper intake.
Nothing in isolation! Generally a good healthy lifestyle in a good healthy world, as soon as we start to lose the benefits of a healthy world we realise we have to help with supplements but of course, none of these dietary needs, works in isolation.
Glad someone has already mentioned this. .it is essential. .I have often thought about many unnecessary deaths are caused by copper deficiency once winter rolls along and zinc uptake is started just because.

Thank you Dr. Campbell for the great, critical, and potentially life-saving information! I was waiting for your comments about the importance of Zinc absorption, role and examples of Zinc Ionophores, how to recognize bio-available Zinc supplements, etc. For example, I know that Zinc has to be properly absorbed in order to obtain the benefits. And I do not know if Zinc is better absorbed from certain foods, and less so from others, and I suspect the same might be true depending on the type of supplements that are used. I appreciate all your expertise, and learn a lot from your excellent videos.
@@tomasosangmuir754 Thank you very much Tomas. Do you know if all natural sources of zinc are more or less absorbable? I also learned from DR Zelenco that Quercetin + Vit. It's kind of astonishing that evolution managed to make us vulnerable to so many mineral deficiencies. Sometimes I wonder if were just not getting enough dirt in our diet. Washing of plant based food stuffs is a very new innovation.
Zinc absorption has been demonstrated to be reduced by eating beans at the same time as oysters and at the same time as a supplement. Eating corn at the same time reduced absorption to almost nothing. The study is called “Studies on the Bioavailability of Zinc in Man”
I eat a balanced plant-based diet and I have no Zinc deficiency. One can suffer from zinc deficiency whether eats meat or plant based, same goes for vitamin deficiency, vitamin B12 and iron, to name a few. It has to do with unbalanced diet, eating junk and processed foods as opposed as whole food and food rich in nutrients. Zinc is metal so it needs to be carefully supplemented. By saying vegans are at risk is incorrect, anybody who eats junk food and have other chronic diseases is at risk of any deficiency these days.
I credit John for having the courage to admit something everyone with common sense knew a year ago and were demonized for saying it while being highly sceptical of an experimental jab.

Thank you again 😊. I’m upset and frustrated again, that most of the Drs in the U.S. aren’t informed about these important supplements and nutrition or simply don’t care-supplements aren’t money makers. I have an autoimmune disorder that my longtime Neurologist always checked for vitamin D3, among other things, when I had good insurance. I’m 71, fixed income, eat a plant based diet predominately-it’s so difficult to have a primary care Dr agree to have the basic blood test done, thyroid, etc., . Thank you again, I wanted to check with you on this before I ordered the correct amount of zinc tonight. Thank you 😊
Vegans should not be insufficient in zinc. We eat a lot zinc rich whole foods. It's not good to load up on supplements, because, as you reported, you can do damage. Those of us eating a plant based diet are generally very aware of our nutritional levels. Your research is much appreciated.
When I studied nutrition, we were told if you are deficient in zinc you will be deficient in the other 3 of the 4 foundational nutrients; vitamin D, calcium and magnesium. White sugar depletes magnesium btw. Low magnesium has been known to cause inflammation. You also need vitamin B6 to conserve magnesium but all B vitamins need to be taken in strict ratios to each other. If you take zinc and do not take adequate amounts of the other 4 foundational nutrients, the body won't be able to use the zinc and may even dump the zinc you are taking. This is why the CDC can't advise on supplementing nutrients. This is foolhardy to advise on nutrition and select just one or even several deficient nutrients, it's going to cause more problems in the long run. Many nutrients are fat soluble including vitamin D, so if you are in a low fat diet, you may not be consuming enough fat to metabolise the vitamin. And if you buy any books on this subject, buy pre 1970s because they hadn't been compromised.
^^^^^^I think this message needs to be pinned to top. While the store sells the supplements individually it is challlenging to cobble together correct dosage and form to meet one's needs. Add to that the various multi vitamins (which remarkably do not line up with recommendations we find on line, etc.) it is a wonder folks survive. Thanks for mentioning the foundational nutrients. Got me rethinking my regime! Thank you AriesJedi

If keeping people healthy were of any importance to the "experts", this would be part of their message. It is not in their message, it is not their goal.
You're correct. If the goal were to keep people healthy, then refined sugar, flour, vegetable oils would be banned (most processed "foods"), along with pesticides, herbicides, synthetic hormones, GMO products, etc., etc. But they don't care about people's health, only about huge corporate profits (big pharma, big agriculture, etc.) People really need to wake up.

@@leialee6820 Leia you might believe that organic foods are expensive, though that is not as true as you believe, but 'natural' foods are vital! What would you suggest? Families to eat from the cheapest fast food outlets, or stuff themselves full of packaged processed 'foods'? I agree that here in the UK we couldn't produce enough of the eggs I buy to feed the country but everything else could quite easily be produced in enough quantities. In fact, I did of course ask myself the question of cost when I went organic about 30 years ago. Back then it wasn't so easy so most of the extra cost was in travelling to find the food since I live in London and we don't have too many farms here. But every couple of years I run an experiment to see how much our meals are costing us. The last time I did that I priced up my spaghetti Bolognese, and I included the cost of the pasta though I eat it with spiralised courgettes. Organic beef, carrots, onions, celery, bacon, tomatoes and tomato puree. And I even calculated the cost of the butter and olive oil and the herbs and seasoning! Oh and the organic parmesan too which of course is expensive. Well, one meal cost just a third of the non-organic, chemical filled ready meal in Sainsbury's that so many people buy! And obviously it's way cheaper than ordering it in a cafe or chain restaurant, which people who complain about the cost of organic food also buy! And we do use a lot of that parmesan too - way more than you get in that ready meal box. You do need to be able to cook of course but with meals like that I make enough Bolognese sauce for ten, giving the two of us five meals and freeze it for a day we don't want to to so much cooking. We pay around £10 for a chicken but from that one chicken we get four meals as well as the broth to use in soups. And we don't eat chicken almost every day as some seem to. So yes, £2.50 is probably more than some people pay for a whole chicken but it hardly breaks the bank. And apart from the welfare of the animal, we are not consuming the antibiotics that we'd rather not have and they are just two benefits of many. Making a chicken and mushroom risotto tonight with a celeriac salad :-) Oh and for three days each week we don't eat at all. So that saves money and time! I decided to fast for a minimum of 36 hours three times a week rather than doing it each day for a shorter time period.

Finally some useful information for people on how to take care of themselves and optimize there own immune systems. The government doesn't seem to care to much about giving people this potentially life saving information. Much more to come I hope
The information linking a good diet to good health is abundant and has been around for years. Why do you need the government to hold your hand and tell you not to live on a diet of processed fatty over sweetened junk and fast foods and that eating fresh food is better for your health ? Copper will not run into physically scarcity in the future, but increased demand and decreased resource quality will cause significant price increases. ... The total supply of copper reaches a maximum 2030-2045, zinc 2030-2050 and lead 2025-2030.
Thank you for clarifying this for me. I've recently started watching your videos and zinc has been high on my priorities for: lets say, understanding. I suffer from COPD and Lupus, I recovered from heart disease and the medications prescribed to me gave me many adverse effects. I stopped taking them all and chose to look for alternatives. These included changing my diet and vitamin/mineral supplements. When my medications were prescribed there was no discussions about any deficiencies and I was told I must take these medications for the rest of my life. I must say that I and I alone understand my body's reaction to medications and since I have been using zinc suppliments, I rarely get a cold or flu and when I do, it lasts for only a couple of days. Please continue this good work, I know you have a lot to read and consider, and: as you are doing; give us the unbiased facts that we all deserve. Cheers.
Thanks - recently, we started taking Zinc, Vit D, Quercetin, Vit C. My wife's asthma significantly improved, which was a great and unexpected side benefit.
My asthma has also significantly improved since taking quercetin amongst other vitamins 😊
@Yuri R.
@Yuri R. OK, thanks.
This is what I found so far, but I will keep looking -
"During a 2-year study conducted by a US-based government organisation called National Toxicology Program, male rats fed 2 g/kg body weight/day of quercetin (corresponding to a dose of 140 g for a 70 kg individual) showed severe chronic nephropathy, hyperplasia and neoplasia of the renal tubular epithelium.

The fact that health authorities aren’t giving us this type of information on the likes of zinc & vit D is frankly shameful
While taking zinc for longer duration we need to balance Copper as well. Need to keep Zinc :Copper ratio around 20:1 for every 20 mg of zinc we need 1 mg of copper intake.
Glad someone else already mentioned this as well 👍
Nothing in isolation! Generally a good healthy lifestyle in a good healthy world, as soon as we start to lose the benefits of a healthy world we realise we have to help with supplements but of course, none of these dietary needs, works in isolation.

Sending love to you and your home studio. I.take low dose zinc daily based in testing. Yes! Dark chocolate.
Vegans should not be insufficient in zinc. We eat a lot zinc rich whole foods. It's not good to load up on supplements, because, as you reported, you can do damage. Those of us eating a plant based diet are generally very aware of our nutritional levels. Your research is much appreciated.
Remember, it takes effort for your gut to release zinc into your body from food alone. Same with epa/dha. This is the whole reason for supplements.
Thank you, Sir, for taking your time of the day for educating us. I always listen to your videos with great interest!
Many nutrients are fat soluble including vitamin D, so if you are in a low fat diet, you may not be consuming enough fat to metabolise
the vitamin.
In addition, I read earlier, sufficient zinc in infected cells hinders or prevents replication of virus rna within the infected cell.
So, the 'out lawed' staple meal of fried egg, chips and beans was healthy and probably why I was never ill as a child, whilst my classmates from wealthier families, were. Interesting.
When animal fat was told to cause heart disease it went downwards with health. More people died from nutritional advice than WWII
I feel variety in diet is important. My mom raised me to eat a little of everything. Fruits vegetables rice pasta eggs cheese meat ect. We ate smaller portions of higher fat and sugary foods but moderation in all things.
Baked beans are extremely healthy and chips are only unhealthy if you are getting too much energy which as a child normally is less of an issue.

Thank you. It's possible to advocate for vaccination and also give info on how to be in better health. The fact that you've talked about Vit D, and hosted conversations about treatment, helps me believe you care about our health, the future of this world, and are coming from integrity. Seems clear enough to me that those in Government have no interest in informing us about vitamin supplements nor anything else around our health, otherwise they would ban cigarette smoking and heavily discourage the eating of junk food. But let us not be like children here. We know well enough that the food industry and the medical industry are the two biggest influencers of Government policy across the world and have been since the end of WW2. It really is time we took our health into our own hands and behaved like the adults we should be. NOT follow blindly what Chief medical officers and Doctors say. They are paid by the pharmaceutical industry to tell us what we should buy to remedy the illnesses they say. we have.
Not really, because these vaccines don't promote better health.
And all the time spent talking about the vaccines is time taken from exploring the *many* areas of nutrition that could be discussed, all important to protecting us from a disease.

Careful as it is the immune system that is the frequent cause of death for people who die from viral infections. Yes but it has to be on a foundation of a healthy diet of organic natural foods.
@@misstangentina8552 Organic natural foods are not necessary and cost a lot of money and they cannot be produced in bulk and the quantities required for feeding the people on this Earth.
@@leialee6820
Leia you might believe that organic foods are expensive, though that is not as true as you believe, but 'natural' foods are vital!
Making a chicken and mushroom risotto tonight with a celeriac salad :-)
Oh and for three days each week we don't eat at all. So that saves money and time!
I decided to fast for a minimum of 36 hours three times a week rather than doing it each day for a shorter time period.
