Also Simul Archfiends in the same pack is sorta like a bad Summon Limit, as it can prevent decks like Branded from going Lubellion into Mirrorjade, can prevent Kashtira/Purrrely/Exosister etc from Going beyond a single Xyz, can effectively outright stop decks like Crusadia from even playing as well, maybe not something good right now, but should probably be kept in mind.

I must say that i had a good laugh seeing the double master pack giving out a Worm that isnt an insect, a Random Garbage Plant Fusion and after more specification gave out a random garbage tribute insect monster

8:08 I know it was a "hindsight is 20/20" situation, but in the future, you can use the Naturia Tuners summoned off of Bird Of Roses to go into Power Tool Braver Dragon. Summon any Level 4 guy, synchro summon X-Saber Wayne with the Level 4 + Vein, then summon Braver with the Camellia + Wayne. With Solitary Sword in your Deck (plus Parasomnia Pillow, which you can ditch with his effect to change the battle position of a guy or negate their effect), you'll be sitting pretty with a big 5000 ATK dude. You could've survived the crackback with Z-ARC your opponent had.
not only that, but parasomnia pillow triggers if the monster is destroyed by anything, meaning that even if the opponent destroys power tool, you still get a 2500 atk token if parasomnia pillow was equipped!
As someone who’s made it to Platinum rank in his Master Duel Masochist challenge, the highest I’ve ever gone is plat 4. Good luck, man. You’re gonna need it.
34:00 Isn't Millennium Scorpion sort of playable in the insect deck? It is a 1 tribute beat stick that becomes 2500atk the moment you run something over and only gets bigger from there. Especially since the insect deck only has Beargram as the payoff this should be an acceptable side option.

One bit of feedback: you were having issues tracking the order of cards on the Kash, consider running with the log enabled. It provides a ton of great info like that, and I personally don't think it's offensively cluttering. Especially when they don't present the damn cards in the right order.😂

That last game, every cydra player screaming at cimo getting rid of machine dup knowing is a dead card because clockwork night preventes it to work because of the atk boost
I still think Smoke Mosquito and Level Resist Wall could join the deck. Wall is just another way to access low level Insect/Plants, or to search Riscorpio by floating into Suprex. Mosquito is a versatile bug and can make rank 4s. Speaking of 4s, you had access to One-Eyed Gainer in that game against the Big Eye. You could copy its effect and steal it, even you didn't draw Gameciel.
As someone who’s currently in gold 1 during my masochist challenge, I can tell you that you’ll face more OTKO and/or meta decks as you climb. I can also tell you that you’ll have a much easier time with your pulls Cimo, my deck choices are synchro/xyz jank and fire jank, including jank removal. Then again I’m Gold 1 with over 130 losses and 37 wins, so I’m pretty much just grinding it in hopes that I can face enough dead draws to try to pull more than archetype cards that I don’t have a good way to use.

I made it to Platinum 2 with my massochist deck, pulled enough amorphage and generic pendulum monsters that going first and pend summoning amorphage envy was enough that purrely and branded couldn't get over it. (Especially when boosted with seal of orichalcos and clockwork night)

Just saying, rikka princess is in the legacy packs, free level 4 body (can't ss anything but plants until it leaves the field, but you can tribute with it no problem), is a plant, and if you get another rikka monster (all of them are n or r except for 1) on the field you get a monster negate, it would be unbeatable paired with konkon which is in the legacy packs too, but alas, pulling srs out of the legacy packs is really tough.

I took some time to look at your pulls, stream included. With minor changes I think you can use both an insect and chaos strategy. I would love to link the list but youtube prevents that LOL. In short both mosquito and dendrite bridge the gap as insects that help set up your chaos engine in addition to other things.
S-force Pla-tina isn't great, but just hear me out on this one. It's effectively a 2800 1 tribute monster. It could be good for outing things that could be hard to out otherwise.
Do it, its so fun. For me, the most fun part is collecting cards like pokemon and finding your own dunames dark witch that wins you games when it shouldn't. If you play on one device and don't have an account on a different one, the easiest is to download the game there and not try to manage multiple accounts on the same device. And you can drop the challenge whenever.
I just wanted to really thank you for this challenge idea, i struggled to stay with the game and this really sparked new motivation for me for this game. Just feels like old Playground yugioh which was my favorite time. Diamond should be quite possible i was 1 win of Dia 3 at my best after over 100hrs playtime. Getting wins gets much easier with decent Deck i have so far, the bigger Problem is getting gems since i used all mine up and only can cover new Packs with Dailys or Events while i want to stay Free 2 Play this will cover the most amount of time to get to Diamond.
Yoo with all the masochist decks people have made from this challenge i feel you could hold a tornament qnd just all the luck (or lack there of) peoples pulls, think it would be really fun
With that last duel, I think the only thing Cimo could’ve done different was banish Clockwork Night over Overflow. I’m just not sure if he’d have been in a better position if he’d done that.
Although probably not realistically winnable, the game against Branded Kash was nto played optimally, most likely because you're not fully aware of the exact benefits and restrictions on your cards. Floodgate doesn't let the opponent flip the monster for the rest of the duel, so killing the face down Unicorn wasn't a priority at all, and Beargram cannot attack DIRECTLY when you use its own Lightning Vortex, so you could've still destroyed the face-down. There was no escaping the Branded Fusion anyway, but it's good to keep in mind for future games anyway.
if you leave the kashtira unicorn facedown from floodgate trap hole they can't flip it back up and because the monster is on the field they can't special summon another kashtira monster from hand
i don't understand why you didn't attack the face-down monster after destroying the Unicorn with Beargram's effect. it just can't attack directly, but can attack
In my own run at this challenge, got to gold very quickly because I got Coral dragon, and enough tuners to build basically coral dragon turbo and it was quite good

@@sandcastlevibes To be fair, it locks you into playing defensively since it dies if the enemy beats over one of his attack position monsters... Buuuut, it's also the kind of card you don't need to play if you are in a winning position anyway. He has enough monsters that he's never going to need to attack with that thing unless he's going for lethal anyway. Though process makes sense, but definitely flawed when faced with reality.

Cimoo needs some DFis/Macro and Barrier Statues/fossil dyna. I played a similar type of masochist game. And getting stun cards was the best way to win against real decks.
Masochist to diamond just isn't going to happen with an hour of games every 2 weeks just isn't going to happen. It doesn't even happen if you play a constructed deck.
And yet Cimo somehow managed to play even worse and handed him the win by helping him draw Clockwork Night which is literally their strongest card by far and an automatic win condition agains most decks, at that point it doesn't even matter how bad the other dude was lmao

No longer have to use the log for Ogre they changed it to be in the order it excavated the cards in the latest update.

In my own run at this challenge, got to gold very quickly because I got Coral dragon, and enough tuners to build basically coral dragon turbo and it was quite good

safe zone is wooooorlds better imo. i don't even think he has tried to equip it to his own guy.

@@sandcastlevibes To be fair, it locks you into playing defensively since it dies if the enemy beats over one of his attack position monsters... Buuuut, it's also the kind of card you don't need to play if you are in a winning position anyway. He has enough monsters that he's never going to need to attack with that thing unless he's going for lethal anyway. Though process makes sense, but definitely flawed when faced with reality.
@@demfrodegroot7596 the way i see it, if it's getting beat over it'll die just like a normal monster would, but it has the ability to play defensively much better than knight does.

I played a similar type of masochist game. And getting stun cards was the best way to win against real decks.
Masochist to diamond just isn't going to happen with an hour of games every 2 weeks just isn't going to happen. It doesn't even happen if you play a constructed deck.

As a CyDra player, seeing how bad that guy played with the deck made me cry.
And yet Cimo somehow managed to play even worse and handed him the win by helping him draw Clockwork Night which is literally their strongest card by far and an automatic win condition agains most decks, at that point it doesn't even matter how bad the other dude was lmao
