Makes me sad to think about it, but unfortunately I think my generation is heading to a wrong path in music. It’s a bummer that most young people won’t have the opportunity to get to know Neil Young’s song. Anyways, congratulations to these musicians, they truly are a blessing to the this world and will always have a special place in my heart.

I've loved this song ever since 8th grade in '69/'70 when our glee club student teacher taught us this song in 3 part harmony and we sang it at our Spring Folk Concert, accompanied on guitar by me and another classmate!
Hello, How're you doing? Thanks for been part of my musical craftiness it's been a long journey, and I'm nothing without amazing fans like you who appreciate me All love to you and yours ❤️
Neil's voice it's just like a whisper dancing in the wind. If I close my eyes and open my window, I can feel his sweet and deep melancholy blowing in the wind.
Back in those days, when I was happy, I listened to Hey Hey My My. When I was sad, I listened to Southern Man. When the feeling was in between or something else, I listened to Four Strong Winds. It was all over on the radio and in the gathering of teens learning to play the guitar. So I have not really seen NY live. But his songs were the soundtrack of so many lives that had seen so many singers come and go. That's how Good Ole Neil remains in my heart.
I met Neil back in 1978, in a little bar just outside of Vienna, Missouri & they told me that it wasn't really him, & it was all a dream....I have been sober since 1980, somewhat.
Such an amazing song like this back in the days, my childhood days.. no more gadgets, no wierdest words so like today, i really miss this, if i have a time in a bottle, i will break this and i will be able to bring back those golden time memories.

Neil is a gift to our planet . . .
Whenever I hear this song I think of home, I realise how much I miss it and wonder if I'll ever feel those four strong winds again.
Wowwwwww!!! first time Ive heard this song sang so slolemnly. Got goose bumps all over me... it took me back again when I'm still wandering as a teenage boy with my friends building castles in the air
It's nice to hear this song again !!!!! Nice music from good talented people too !
This song reminds me of my cousin who passed away from heart failure and was studying architecture. He was my tutor in some of my subjects and was teaching me how to play guitar. He was truly miss. RIP koy Junior Dabu
Sorry for writing you, just out of curiosity your page come up on my suggested friend lists so I was just wondering if I knew you from somewhere???
I've loved this song ever since 8th grade in '69/'70 when our glee club student teacher taught us this song in 3 part harmony and we sang it at our Spring Folk Concert, accompanied on guitar by me and another classmate!
Hello, How're you doing?
Thanks for been part of my musical craftiness
it's been a long journey, and I'm nothing without amazing fans like you who appreciate me
All love to you and yours ❤️
Neil's voice it's just like a whisper dancing in the wind. If I close my eyes and open my window, I can feel his sweet and deep melancholy blowing in the wind.
How nice to put it those words. Beautiful!
Thank you :)
:)
Wow Sam.....beautiful comment!!
Thank you very much :)
I was still living in the US and witnessed "Live-Farm-Aid" in tv, nice, really nice
I met Neil back in 1978, in a little bar just outside of Vienna, Missouri & they told me that it wasn't really him, & it was all a dream....I have been sober since 1980, somewhat.
If you want to achieve immortality, write a song like this. RIP Ian Tyson.
Two peas in a pod . Just WOW!! Do those people know how blessed they are to have been able to be there at the concert ...

To all of you, who have seen Neil Young performed live, I must say you're lucky...everytime I listen to his songs, it reminds me of my mother back in Philippines...my mother is one of the million Neil Young's avid fan...I've become a fan too when I first heard this song while my mother was listening to it...I can never forget to this day, it really brings good old memories for me...long live my mother and Neil..God bless us all.

I'm listening to this in the Philippines right now and yes, I've seen Neil perform in Portland, Oregon. I actually sang this song on DYTR radio in Tagbilaran but had to make up my own lyrics as I had forgotten. Oops!
I hope Neil Young will perform in the Philippines.

We have entered a period in which this caveat is becoming more important by the day,
I'm thinking of the important stuff, not what's happened this week.
