Look at the story of the prodigal son. The father welcomed the son back, even with his failures. God, he gave this story, to show how He feels about us. All heaven rejoices when a sinner turns. Thank You, Father.

Lord, continually recalibrate me as I'm drawn into Your loving presence to seek Your face. Open the eyes of my heart, enlighten the eyes of my understanding, fill me with Your wisdom, light, & grace so I can overflow onto the world around me. Thank You for being our Faithful, trustworthy, covenant-keeping God! Thank You for taking me as I am, Your child wanting to see my Daddy's eyes full of love, joy, & acceptance. Renew Your Spirit within me. Burn off the wood, hay, & stubble refining me like gold & silver. Father, I pray this in the precious name of my Savior & Lord Jesus.

I've never really thought about seeking God's face. Especially looking into His eyes. I grew up in an abusive home. My eyes usually focused on the floor or beyond the parent who was screaming, lecturing, insulting or being purposefully indifferent. I instinctively knew that looking into their eyes would give them pleasure to see my fear and shame. That they had the power when I was forced to have eye contact. I'd wither inside from fear of what they would see and how they would use that to their advantage. I feared what would come next. It took many years before I'd willingly focus on a person's eyes when speaking or listening. I've tried not to transfer this onto my Father, but it's still difficult at times. Believe me, I KNOW God is not like that. I've had a great deal of healing. God wants to use that in the near future. To love on children who have been greatly effected these past two years. Children are my heart. I want to be an example of God's healing love and power. For His glory. Please pray for me in this. Thank you!

If I hadn't had my own relationship with God as kid, I can see having a broken view of God cuz my dad. He was fire and brimstone and just not someone you could come to as a kid it was stifling. Not a bad dad but neglectful etc and it left its things to work through so I don't spread the issues to my own child. But God was a good father in all the ways. Thanks to Him I made it this far 🙌 He is love

The problem is where could I see HIM, Father God? I try for a long time.

you see with the heart - look to Jesus - He reveals the Father

@@BillJohnsonMinistries Could I ask further question? Who reveals Jesus? I believe him according bible says and pastor describes Him so beautifully, but never encounter Jesus. I mean life experience Him and really know Him. It’s another mystery for me. It also takes me for a long time so far. Jesus, Holy Spirit then Father, layer after layer, too difficult for a human being like me. Although l am so happy and love to listen to the Words. But after that, it becomes so difficult to apply or remain. The Words surrounding disappeared, like living in two different worlds, where is God, can’t find. Praying or memorizing words like a dry olive branch walking in the desert. Find Jesus in heart that never encountered, how could I look at him? And what should I do with this situation? Simple but crucial problem. ( in the world) why every one could see Jesus but me. I didn’t complain at all.
P.s. I do believe Jesus loves me because pastor describes Him too beautifully and persuasively with no space and reason to confront with.

@@changcelest6207 If i may suggest - any of the 4 gospels in the Bible describe the life, death & resurrection to life of Jesus. John's gospel is a bit more about who Jesus (God) is, while the other 3 reveal him a bit more in what he did. The book of Acts then goes on to describe the impact that Jesus had on people (and ultimately the world) as a result. If you want to, you can ask the Holy Spirit to bring the Bible's words to light and make them alive for you. Showing you how they have meaning for you.
(Spoiler Alert) In the gospels, when Jesus willingly dies - he does so to show us that he (God) loves us and is worthy of our trust (faith). As we are impacted in our hearts & minds by Jesus's statement or message about God's loving nature and his wisdom for life, we ourselves are compelled to trust him. Expressing this trust by telling someone makes it real for us. Being baptised is a very good way to express our newfound belief in God and our alignment with what he has done for us. Spending time with other believers encourages our faith and helps us stay in a productive growth with God,

Pastor, Did you pray for me? After leaving this comment, the next day when I listened to the Words of a short sermon, words like a river flowed into my heart without any darkness attacking my head/thoughts, and a protection around me let me safely keep receiving the Words flew into my heart, then I saw Jesus, yes, in the heart. But I more focused on what HE said through a sermon. And the revelations are so clear like never before without any exterior interruption. I never experienced Jesus like this before, it fulfilled according what you said in the comment, "see with the heart-look to Jesus". When I listened to the words, HE is so clearly formed. And the Words on that day concerning to HIM like a rock being laid on my heart could prevent any harm and like a road, a gem, a world at beginning. I considered I must have received an anointing prayer from nowhere and a heaven seed planted.Thank you.
