I like Casio, but they do need to remove the "Water Resist" and lose the second hand (and give it to Lorier for their mechanical Zephyr). I may buy it for my cat. :) Terrific presentation, as always. PS-That Santos is terrific!
I agree. The Cartier tank is known for its simplicity. The Water Resist is annoying and the seconds hand throws everything off for me. The size is good, but it's a bit thick (despite it still being a thin watch).
This is NOT a cartier it is a Casio and will have a second hand and water resistant. If you want a watch that doesn't have these things why are you looking at a Casio?
Can you open the case and erase the the text? Maybe with a nail polisher.. Also, can you remove the second hand, will it mess with the movement mechanism?
@@ARTI24899Wear what you like and damn the rest. I'm getting this tank to go along with it's brother the MQ24. Both are Tiny Titans. Long live Casio! ⌚🕔
Agree 100% about water resist text. It would be much better without. It doesn’t make sense for a dress watch. If they want it for symmetry, then they should have come up with something else to put there.
doesnt make sense for any watch, its just people like something for the most part on watches, and most products as well. As for the aesthetics, just the word quartz will do. In the end, someone buying a $25 dress watch probably is not gonna be that upset about it.
In reading the comments it’s funny how people can be shocked at the idea of you rating a “ladies” watch. What I enjoyed is that you reviewed a small watch in detail. The comparison between the Must de Cartier was fantastic. I too own a Santos Medium dial 2-tone and don’t wear it much as it’s widely known it’s a scratch magnet. So this Casio scratches the itch in a super easy going fun way. Once you have collection confidence as in having a few nice watches in rotation, something low key like this keeps you honest in not taking yourself too seriously. That’s for me anyway, Thanks for the review! I found the same Casio in the black dial!
It always blow my mind when big watch companies absolutely destroy a dial on a small tank watch. Bulova Sutton for example - nice watch but they add a sticker-like text "AUTOMATIC 21 JEWELS". Now I see this Casio's "Water resist"... Who cares about that on a dial of tank watch? Just let dial a clean design.
I have the Seiko I can say it measures 28.4 mm in diameter lug to lug I think is around 38mm. The Seiko is a good watch for 100 dollars. I am also looking for a second hand must but prices are higher than 1000 for a good example.
The Casio is nicely done. I agree that writing 'water resist' on the dial is a bit naff. It's also unnecessary because it literally means nothing. Even a paper bag is 'water resistant' when you think about it. Still good for the money though.
I have 7 inch wrist and I'm going to buy this watch no matter what and this watch is not available in India and I'm goin ask this to my sister's husband he is working in Dubai i Love this watch too much
You would think you should know this before you make a video on it lol casio has always had male and female versions of the same watch in their respective sizes
I think you could remove the dial and use an eraser to remove the water resist text. Outside of that, I think this Casio would be a great fit for many women.
Can I ask how many notches you had left when you put it on? I've been looking at this watch for a while but couldn't get an idea if the strap would fit my wrist. We have the same wrist size but i tend to wear my watch a bit loosers. So i was curious if you had room to loosen it up or if that was already maxed out. Thanks!
So that’s the wife’s Christmas present sorted for next year. I’ll tell her it cost a grand and she’ll never know. Shame about the Water Resist and the thickness. Also, why the second hand ?
By looking at the strap width, it really looks more like a woman's watch. You could hardly close the buckle Chris, as the strap is made for smaller wrists. 😉

Kudos! A watch dial should never contain the words"Water Resist" and "Quartz"
With all the respect but it costs 25 euros

I bought this watch a week ago a thank God my wrist is thin, it fits me very nice and looks very elegant
I also have a fine wrist but I’m scared about the size because all the videos I watched said that is definitely too small for a man is it okay ?
@@ARTI24899 it's a watch anyway , at least can be like a bracelet watch ahaah i have a 36 mm watch it's small but elegant so nobody cares

If it did not say Casio on the dial, I would have thought that it was a Cartier.
What a coincidence. I was searching in RUclips about this watch and found this video just released minutes before

Good for you with that santos. Everyone talks about the white santos or maybe the blue one. But that’s the one to get

I have a wrists under 6in and it's fit perfectly 🤌🏻
I have the seiko tank and i love it! Thinking about getting this bad boy too
The bigger version of this is the MTP-V007. This one is marketed towards the ladies.

that one does not use the roman numbers tho
It's got a bit of JLC in those lugs
I think you could remove the dial and use an eraser to remove the water resist text. Outside of that, I think this Casio would be a great fit for many women.
It looks like a cross between a Cartier Tank & a JLC Reverso.
Thank you for covering this watch I'll have to show it to my Lady I think she'll love one!
Bought the brown one! Best buy ever.
The water resist wording is a common Casio thing
Would have preferred it without the second hand...but not bad
I like the second hand which reminds me that life goes on. Long live Casio! ⌚🕔
Nice stablemate for my Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso.
Huh. That actually looks pretty cool from the first few seconds lol
Thanks Chris… I’m holding out for Casio’s homage to the JLC reverso!
This is closer to a reverso case shape than a cartier. The dial is very much cartier tank though
@@bigsmooshflopdong33 He was making a joke.
Really more of a JLC reverso case shape. Minus the reverso part.
Like SKX, Seiko SUP880 is discontinued and it is a pity. It is so iconic and is a solar quartz which precedes Cartier Solar Beat. Why oh why, Seiko.
I’d take this over a moonswatch…
Looks like it has a hint of reverso as well…
Once again, well done :)
15.5 cm wrist size would it fit bro❤

Does anyone know how to remove and replace the strap on the casio?? Its driving me nuts!
👍👍👍 Nice , Elegant , Simplicity 👍👍👍

Just a shame they have the second hand present
I just wish that the seconda hand do not exist.

$39! 🤯
Bought that watch but not for me, for my daughter coz its a ladies watch
No, thank you ! For me, it is too small.
Casio Santos? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Casio is listed as a woman"s watch.
Female watch.
A ladies watch
This is a lady’s watch.
Time for Nico to rethink Casio as GOD tier.... they are copying everyone like Hoblot now. LOL
It looks cool for about 3 seconds. On a mans wrist 0.3 seconds.
Okay cause you have 10k just disposable to park on your wrist 😂😂😂😂😂
