@drawnhere That was one of the major criticisms of the show at the time. Her two variety shows in 1978 and 1979 were horrific, especially her first one in 1978. It was canceled after 2 episodes, but aired a 3rd week because CBS had nothing to replace it with! It was extremely rare for a network to cancel a show for a star that had such a hit for seven years like MTM!
