Excellent Jen; even slightly run down suburbs are made better by your commentary!
Thanks Jen, it might have taken a while but it was worth it, thanks also to your companion,
I'm not sure I'll ever get used to those Northern announcements 😬. Great video as always 🙂
Great video again Jen!
Well done on completing the Hope Valley line. 👍🙂
Thankyou!
There used to be loads of stuff at Bredbury such as the massive goods yard on the South side of the station and the Manchester Central to London Marylebone Midlands line in the cutting on the north side (thousands of motorists daily mourn Beeching's axing of the Stockport Tiviot Dale to Romiley section of that line as shockingly there is now no direct rail link between Marple and Stockport)
So many abandoned projects around there!! Good video again, enjoyed that.
That's the north for you! 😔
I grew up near there...
My god I used to use Reddish North all the time.
Another fab video, Jen! I'm watching your videos (and re-watching some older ones) and exploring the beautiful railways and outdoors through you! ❤
Thanks to Jen I know what certain lines are like so I’m the smartest atm….. Thanks Jen! Continue with these videos! They are great!
I used to go to the Belle Vue zoo/park in the 1960.s
Didn’t,t there use to be a Speedway and Greyhound racing there too.
Up to the 1950s, there was a Rugby League club there too!
Great video Jen
Very brave of you venturing to Belle Vue and Ryder Brow. I don't think I would want to spend too much time there in daylight, let alone at night
I must admit, I'd been putting off filming this one for months!
Brilliant video Jen and congrats on completing the hope valley line. Very interesting to see evidence of an uncomplete bypass to the east of inner Manchester. The cats you find are always cute. :)
Very happy that bypas didn´t materalized , that park space is priceless !
Another great video, thanks Jen.
Great Nerdy Video Jen.
Yeah but Belle Vue was closer to Belle Vue than the middle of Gorton hence they called it Belle Vue. It even had two passing loop platforms to allow for excursion trains for people visiting Belle Vue's park, zoo, ballroom and various sporting venues.
Great video as usual Jen I enjoyed watching 😊
Rather like the Bredbury station name board styling , GMPTE should adopt it for all rail stations , and in yellow for trams
I don't think it is important how long it takes
to complete a line
I enjoy the journey and the commentary too.
You had me at cats.
They are so sweet.
Hope Valley Line is not same experience without squeaking Pacers ;)
When was raining outside, was raining inside as well :D
9:18 hold up, wait a minute, something ain't right here 😂😂😂
Excellent video Jen. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next video.
Think this was the day that Macclesfield finally gets payback LOL But seriously a great video Jen and congratulations on completing the Hope Valley Line.
It was going to get me one day!
Manchester does have some good estates and some rundown bad estates. Bit like what other bigger UK cities have. I still would like to go Manchester as I never been there and to ride on the Metrolink trams as well. 😊
Great video!
Huh! I'd found those Eastern Bypass named roads by Clayton Hall but I'd got no idea why they were called that.
Is that Manchester
Did always wonder why Hyde Road was empty on one side. Now I know! Thanks Jen. 😃
Princess Road is in a similar situation too!
6:07 😂 great video Jen!
Great video Jen
Doesn't matter how long it takes to complete every station. 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year who is counting?
this is the nerdy side of the internet, there's gonna be someone counting- but your point is taken
Visting every station on the marches line new series
when metrolink Jen?
i feel like the whole idea of visiting every station on the central line was forgotten about
Next episode is released to Patreons at 7pm tonight!
Was there ever a “belle vue” around that station to give it that name? Couldn’t find any belle vue now 😉
The history is a bit unclear on that one!
😊
From the thumbnail burnt out car's?
Thanks for that video. Remind me not to visit that area!
