This weapon needs a faster grenade consume animation and the "rocket shot" should not consume ammo because you are already sacrificing your grenade to use it. And if bungie really wants to show this exotic love, they should also remove the charge animation from the rocket shot so it fires instantly
I think the fact that they didn't include any fusion rifle artifact mods really lowered its use. You'd think they would since it's a pre order weapon and this is the first "season" of the expansion it was sold with
Agreed! To be honest, I hate artifact mods determining what you use per season. I’d love it if you could a lot “anti-champ type” mods into your chosen weapons. Perhaps they could lock it to certain ammo types, but it would certainly broaden the weapons we use all the time.

I get what you're saying, but with the catalyst you will be doing elemental damage....just change your grenade type to the elemental damage that stuns appropriate champs in your activity. Problem solved.
I use it with my strand Hunter build. Did you know this weapon puts out incredible DPS I hit Carl and I think I saw 181,000 and another smaller number so this thing slaps not just for clearing ads
When does the catalyst release exactly or non-preorder persons ??? Edit: Think its kinda lame thag bungie gatekeeps the catalyst for this long after FS has been out for a while now..
The thing is that it is just a normal fusion or even worse than a legendary when not using the grenade,it would help if the debuffs persists for the normal shots for like 10 or 5 seconds affter the grenade shot
Tesselation can do good damage using your grenade. But do you know what else can do good damage? Using. Your. Grenade. And that doesn’t take your exotic and elemental slot, comes with way better synergies and doesn’t take 5 seconds waiting to absorb the nade and charging the shot. It’s Jötun but in bad
I have mostly avoided using it to not crutching on it if I did find something that made it on the levels of stupidly good. Gonna have to take it out and run it in that Lost Sector in the Cosmodrome with the big Servitor to practice with it later.
Its just clunky to use and with one fragment u can get faster use of granades just by trowing them therr is literally a fragment that will give ur void nades weaken and jolton arc in the prismatic subclass so i can just toss the granade and get the same result .... the only use case for this weapon would be if u want to run healing granades but still need a way for the granade to be used offensively...
the problem with tesselation is that, it uses your grenade energy! I'd rather be able to throw a grenade AND get the most out of the weapon. But nope, one neuters the other.

I’m also really kind of sick of people telling me that I need to pre-order the final shape to have access to the catalyst. If you’re in collections, that is clearly not true. Kind of tired of the misinformation not gonna lie.

I was using this and it was hitting for around 40,000 damage with consumed grenade energy.
This weapon and ex diris really need a buff and a good one !

dead messenger, borealis, and hard light, can not swap to darkness damage, only light damage

I scored it for free at the start of the season but it's useless until the catalyst drops.
I need to get that thing out and at least try it.
I just didn't see it hitting hard enough, or giving back enough grenade energy to justify giving up my energy slot, and my exotic slot.

It's a lot of very powerful builds that have synergy with the use of your grenade. To just throw it into your fusion rifle seems like a waste.
