It's amazing how this house looks minimalist even with all the contemporary classic deco while still retaining the same warm feeling of a home. This is one of my top fav so far ☺️
All of these "small" apartments have very high ceilings and huge windows, no wonder they look bigger and spacier than the square meters suggest. On the other hand, you could have a 100sqm apartment with 2,4m ceilings and little natural light and it will feel small, claustrophobic and depressing. The high ceilings and big windows are the main criteria for selecting a flat!
Main criteria for people who prefer high ceilings? For me 2.5 m ceilings are perfectly fine, I like cosy spaces and feel uncomfortable in rooms with high ceilings.
It's a matter of taste, so many people may not love this. For instance, I find the hanging back rest for the dining area off-putting. Just not attractive or stylish to me. It is different but different isn't always better. Definitely can see the care that went into this and the changes that were made that improve the space - like the bathtub and the pull out pantry but a lot of families are not going to jump to own a pink home or want a guest room that leads to the master bedroom with glass doors. Do love that they have the sunroom off the bedroom. I would have changed the whole floor plan if money wasn't an object so the sunroom is off the living room and not the master bedroom. Put the master bedroom in the kitchen area and the kitchen in the living room and the living room in the master bedroom. Guess I just don't like it although I appreciate the quality.
To be honest, for 2 people and 2 dogs, its pretty spacious, would be more interesting to see how space is used when they got 2 more kids. Nevertheless, the color usage in the apartment is VERY VERY Awesome.
It’s great because their storage is utilized well as they have a sunroom. I have a similarly sized apt but nowhere near enough kitchen storage or sunroom and it makes it feel much more cramped.
I like nts videos that feature apartments where the owners actually live in the apartment. Airbnb apartments have a completely different vibe to them than apartments that have been lived in. They have a different function as well since you only stay at an Airbnb for a couple days.

Well, as a design student, we are constantly presenting projects to teachers and other guests; after a while, many develop a 'voice' that we use while presenting to sound professional and like we know what we are talking about, even though sometimes it is complete bs.
It is so amazing how this apartment can have a minimalist look and be chic and cosy together with these colors which are so soothing and also playful at the same time. Perfect combination of all.
Its excatly what i want to describe; minimalist n chic. Soothing and playful at the same time. I do love the kitchen shelves, the dining set and even that tiny planter, what a simple lil detail but stunning
The sunroom was a wonderful surprise. If Hubby has noisy friends over, she has somewhere to go other than the bedroom, and vice versa. The issue with most small apartments is that spouses often nowhere to retreat. There are many reasons to have a comfortable small room of one's own. Love this little accent room.
This apartment is so aesthetically pleasing - there's something old and something new. Classic and chic and interesting all in one. The glass doors are amazing!
Love this one. I have the same philosophy when it comes to interior design: function and comfort. Cool fancy designs are only good to look at, but when you're actually living there it's a whole new story.
I have honestly not seen an apartment in this series where there weren't (even just minor) things I would change. There is absolutely nothing I would want to change about this one. To me, this is perfection in every single way and I would love to live in an apartment like this someday.
loved the place, the colors are great, when the time comes I'll paint them with these colors. I really like how bright the house is. Congrats to the designer.
Absolutely love this home, love how the storage cabinet doors in the kit hen slide backwards into the cabinets. those walls are begging to be covered in art!

This apartment is not small at all, it’s gorgeous! My partner and I recently went apartment hunting and I would’ve highly considered purchasing this apartment. Only thing is the long layout, but I definitely love the design of it. My dream house is definitely a heritage house so I totally appreciate how you’ve respected the heritage of this apartment but modernised it. Great work! 💕
I love the aesthetic of this apartment: a neutral palette, low furnishings and slim legs on furnishings keep the ambience so light and fresh. My favourite touch is the judicious use of brass throughout; lovely! The only items that I would add are ramps beside the bed and the sofa so that the wee pups don't have to jump up, and even more importantly, down for the health of their spines.

The appreciation of the subtle Art Deco elements makes this space feel like a work of harmony and restoration, of respect for the original form and decisions. Deco can tempt us into flamboyance but this is solid, livable, pleasureable.
