All they need is to have Curley come join them and then Moe and Larry would be all set.

Both snow blower are my top choice. I like Honda with its engine and quality. I also like Toro size and its 252cc engine. The final question is "which one is good for 9" wet snow" ?

So which snow blower did you guys prefer? This is really the only test video I’ve seen comparing the Honda 720 against the newer Toro 821 which arguably maybe the most powerful single stage on the market. So far seems like a hard choice...

ive had both. i sold my Honda. guess which one i like better lol
the Honda was good, for sure. BUT! had some issues. the Chute is...ehh...finickey. ideally u take it apart and put some silicone grease around the gearing and area where it slides. it likes to seize. next, the left wheel...it kept collecting snow and it would freeze while i was using it and the wheel would stop turning...so im pushing this damn thing through the snow myself with no help from the wheels. i tired a bunch of non stick things to prevent it, but never did. i ended up switching them out with toro wheels and didnt have the issue again. after that it worked good, but it kinda annoyed me and my mom really need a good snow blower so i sold it to her and bought the Toro QZE 821.
the Honda i had was the HS720A or AS? i dont rmember...it had electric start and the "nice" chute controls.
ive had no issues with my Toro

@@Papi4l2 Guess which one would have still been running for you after 15 years like my Honda HS520 and which one uses a cheap Chinese Loncin engine. I love Toro but I am not going to buy one no matter how good people tell me the Chinese engines are these days. They are better than they used to be but still not even close to the same level as a Honda. I had one in my Champion generator I gave my father in law. Needed 2 new carbs and now runs with partial choke and I started it monthly using only premium no ethanol gas. It is maybe 6 years old. I have Chinese motors in both my Westinghouse Inverters. One starts hard and the other newer one starts super hard especially in winter. The newer one is less than 7 months old and takes about 20 pulls. To be fair the better one starts with about 5 pulls in summer. If a Honda took that many pulls you would be checking to see if it had gas because you could not believe it😀 I would pay more to have a Honda engine on a Toro blower. Their blower design is very good.

@@Brian-Outdoors i hear'ya. But like i said, too many issues for me for as much as i paid. I like honda. I have a Honda HRX217 mower

@@Papi4l2 I agree if my Honda HS520 ever does die I will not be buying the fancy one with all the chute controls that will fail. I will buy the same one like I have now with the long metal chute controls as it is quicker and has really nothing that can fail. Just amazes me after 15 years it still starts in 2 pulls max cold (1 warm) and still blows snow 30+ feet (straight not to the sides) now that I changed the rubber paddles on it for 43 dollars even with genuine OEM parts.

24 years on my Toro CCR2450GTS. Replaced the paddles last year and the primer bulb 10 years ago. 1-2 pulls to start from frozen.

both are great but the toro has a 250 cc and i believe the honda has a 190cc. It was hard for me to decide but i went with neither. I just bought the toro Snowmaster with the 250cc. I also bought a used HS520 for the small amount of snow.
Update: Last month I used the snowmaster for the first time in a 4 in wet snow. I really didn’t like the machine because it keep going over the snows. I sold it the next week and bought a Ariens deluxe 24 . I like the 14 in augers and 14impeller.

Definitely a great buy! I love the 14 in auger and the impeller. It is worth the money ! The light snow i can used the shovel or the single stage. The ariens will definitely takes care of the wet and the blizzard! I am looking forward to the heavy and wet snow now

You will need the bigger impeller and auger to handle the slush and will not clog the chute ! The 252 cc is powerful

I agree...the Snowmaster has a light front end that likes to ride up over any kind of packed or icy based snow and the fact that the augers don't contact the ground doesn't help. I'm thinking of selling mine and getting one of these 2 machines in the video because i don't really get a lot of deep snow. This video however only shows how they work in a parking lot with 1 1/2 inches of snow!
