I've got an 1132... 22 years and still the beast it was, from storm one, until today... This guys driveway is certainly impressive... Mine and surrounding outbuildings are dissimilar. However for 22 years, I've been moving as much snow as he... These Hondas are the Best, Bar-none...

Just picked up an 1132 the other day for breaking trail on drifted sidewalks. I do snow removal and tires with chains just don't have enough grip when it gets real bad and the lighter snows get done with a paddle blower. I'll not need it often but it's like 4 wheel drive. When you need it nothing else will do.

A great machine for sure. Here in Canada I have a 43 year old 11 hp Briggs & Stratton powered 33" MTD. I've rebuilt the auger drive gear box, replaced the rubber tired drive wheel, belts and skid shoes twice so far. The thing was originally equipped with a 115V starter but that quit about 15 years ago and never replaced it because it's a first pull start machine if I keep the carb cleaned and tuned with a new s/plug and fuel filter every season. The old brute still throws snow a good 40 ft. Getting so that parts are an issue so when it needs another round of rebuilding, it might get replaced with one of these Honda beauties.

Currently all i see is soft & packed snow wich is a total ease for it, but i want to see it being challenged. Before i invest in a snowblower i want to see how it can the worst mother nature can throw at it.

New asphalt driveway. Old one was rough gravel and would have likely snapped shear pins. It’s hydrostatic drive with directionals on levers, but I mix those with just nudgeing it around. Its a beast of a snowblower, couldn’t be happier with it.
