I agree that Ahamada did better than some are suggesting. To put some numbers to it: 3 tackles and 1 interception, 43 touches (essentially the same as Wharton), 25 of 33 passes completed and *seven* progressive passes, which was most on the team. He also had 23 carries and two progressive carries. We all know the only two players who had more progressive carries (3 each for Ebs and Michael). I genuinely believe there's a player in there and I'm convinced that what he needs is what JP needed: the chance to play himself into form and good coaching to improve his decision making. Glasner can give him that. UTP!
Clynes runs results in both the first goals. He has found another yard of pace and is playing really well. Going to the u21s final on Wednesday. Hope there’s a good crowd. ❤️💙🦅
I wish I had put bet on with my score prediction 😡. Anyway, a great game, shame about Hughes and Ahamada, but we should have enough cover for Villa. Meteta is also benefitting from the Eze/Olise partnership and was there again against Wolves, though Villa will be a different animal. Wharton was very good again and will be interesting to see where Decoure will go once he is fit (and if we keep Wharton). Roll on the last game of the season - Palace 2-1 Villa.
ahamada got a lot of stick on facebook from palace fans. i think he had an ok game. the sending off was richards fault. he only had to knock it out of play, but tried to outmuscle cunha and lost. thus leaving you exposed. i said myself, that next season depends on who you lose, and who you bring in. but glasner is a canny operator. brajan gruda would be a good option to bring in. right winger, 19 years old, plays for mainz. bit raw still. but plenty of potential. i think the only thing that might put off signing olise and eze, are their injury proneness.
This team is awesome... please Olise and Eze stay...

I agree. With time I think he will be a good player.

That should be a good game. Have fun!
Ahamada suspended for final game, hopefully Hughes will be fit🤞

Man, if we lose Wharton as well it will be a disaster.

Yeah, I thought he did ok. He just needs more minutes like the other do.
That's a bang-on assessment on Richards. Ref was playing free and easy with yellows as well.
His first time pass to Olise set up the third goal and overall he did fine
