I think France has way over 50% bald men. The hairline here is so far at the back of the head, and men begin balding at the age of 20. By the age of 30, they have such thin hair, too many turn completely bald. It's the most bald country in the universe.

I think it has to do with testosterone levels. This would also explain why these countries invaded most of the world, while China has remained with relatively the same land mass area for the past centuries. This also explains the individualistic nature of European society and the socialistic nature of Asian societies.
Balding is caused by the androgen dihydrotestosterone, not testosterone. I believe that bald men have more sensitive androgen receptors in their hair follicles and the enzyme which converts testosterone to DHT.
The reason why asians have low percentage of baldness because most of us dont like to eat bread and eggs. We eat rice, we eat lots of B vitamins foods.
I think its probably more down to genetics. Unfortunately Asia seems to be catching up in the hair loss department so could it be a lifestyle problem? I mean more stress, more noise, more work.

The rate is actually quite low. I have lived in SK for 10 years. I have seen 70 year old with good hair. I assure you, they do not wear wigs.
