I want to say this about the gorilla glue woman, that ended up being a blessing because they discovered her breast cancer during the surgery to fix her hair and she was able to get treatment for it.
I didn’t know that. I’m glad it was found and she got treatment. I remember feeling so bad for her when all that gorilla glue stuff came out

I agree 100% I am 58 years old and wouldn't change my childhood for anything. I'm glad I grew up in the Era that I did. No cellphone no computers cartoons only on Saturday morning. We played outside and drank from the hose.
I remember the days where you actually earnt celebrity status.
Like them or not, once, you were famous if you actually had talent, whether it be in music, acting, sport or hosting.
But now, talent is not a pre-requisite and we are poorer for it.
I completely forgot about Snooki getting punched in the face. It is so sad and kinda messed up that the punch was aired, especially looking at this now as an adult. She’s like under 5 feet tall, didn’t touch the man, didn’t present a life or death threat and she got punched square in the face. I watched this show every Jers-day when it first came out and I feel like it wasn’t that big of a deal at the time. Ugh! What a POS punching her. Wtf was I watching when I was 14?!

Blame it on social media and reality shows. And yet, people are still getting famous through that mess. Learn to realize that most people want attention and will only be famous for a time being. Move on from these people and let them know that their 15 minutes of fame won't last forever. And on top of that, how are these people getting managers/agents/a team working for them? Do those people really think that their clients are going to be famous forever? I wouldn't want to manage/buy/work with anyone who's gotten famous through social media or a reality show. It doesn't last long.

At least some of these people actually have done something with their lives due to their fame and infamy, with some even showing that they’re good people and the real deal.
I haven’t heard of any of them (until now) and I hope to keep it that way.
As for the question posed, I saw no evidence of any of them having any talent, so I’m going to opine that none of them should be famous.
As ridiculous as the "Gorilla Glue" girl was-there were also people who tried to prove her wrong, thinking that she was faking Gorilla Glue was that strong. One guy actually glued a Solo cup to his lips with the liquid version of Gorilla Glue, and there is this photo of him in the ER in all his shame. He said in a video that he thought that it [gorilla glue] would just stick to his lips and that he would be able to wet them and take it off, but he was surprised at his own idiocy.
Celebrity is its own beast. Sure, people become famous for being talented, or having great ideas or their good actions, but it's just a tiny part of it, and the hardest.
It seems to me that once you caught attention, you become and stay famous kinda just because you're famous.
If you want to have a career in pop music, don't study music or rehearsal or practice an instrument, nothing like that. Film yourself doing something stupid and then take advantage of it.
