This is a project to build a Royal Enfield Classic 350 / Meteor 350 Custom Bobber / Scrambler bike from a 2022 model Stolen & Recovered machine, part of a full series of episodes.
Thanks for sharing, Meteor is looking better than ever 👍
Thank you!
The Meteor is indeed looking great, did throw me at first thinking this was an older video I had missed - look forward to more :)
Thanks for watching again, I've got a few more bits to go on it too I've had laying about so there'll be some more Meteor yet 👍
Spot on Glyn, you have a very creative brain and this is looking excellent 😀👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Glyn, the graphics have turned out really cool! 😁👍
I first thought oh no - how will they go on the curves of the tank without creasing? But their narrow pattern seems to have been ok👍
I got a little roller with serrated wheels for rolling inner tube patches thats ideal for smoothing on stickers too! , 😁👍
Thanks Bruce, that roller would have been ideal, I was thinking about something like that while I was rubbing my finger all over the tank and making a mess of it. I would have had a stroke trying to put a flat sticker on there haha although I've seen videos of wraps on tanks and they seem to make it work somehow 👍
Looking good Glyn, it’s the final touches that make it special, as you say don’t second guess a creative idea, just go with it and then work out how to get what you visualise, all the best buddy 👍
Thanks Mike, got to have an open mind, but not so open that your brains fall out🤪
Brilliant! Looks fantastic Glyn. Super job, and nicely chosen. Totally improves the looks of that Meteor!
Ride Safe 🙏🏼
Thanks Scott! 🙏 Safer than paint (well it is for me anyway....)
I sped thro' the application bit to see the outcome with doubts! But yes it works. A brave video sir😊
It's less risky than paint for sure! 👍
Good work,I do like my decals. I was shaking my head about the first front mudguard sticker the clear film on it just looked wrong. Then you did the tank one and I thought that would be much better on the mudguard and you thought exactly the same. Great minds and all that lol.
Yes, I'm glad I got rid of that, it was a bit Fisher Price haha. I've got one left so might put it on my toolbox or something, or a guitar maybe. Thanks for watching again David 🙏
Christ Glyn. I'd make a complete arse of that! I haven't remotely got the patience. I tried to cover over a couple of the graphics on my Signals and couldn't get them to go around all the curves. They all bunched up. After 20 minutes of pissing around, I gave up in a huff! 😂
I deliberately chose those so it would be simple, I'd have failed with something flat like the signals stickers for sure. The new Himalayan has some simple looking chunk shapes going on too. I love the signals bikes, tempting to copy it for my Classic but it has its own path.....
Normally hate stickers of any sort but those suit the whole vibe of the bike really well Glynn. 👍
I worked in the car trade in the 80's and 90's and I lost count of the number of pin stripes and fade out panels I fitted, especially to Mini Metro's !! Our garage became known for them and we had people asking us to fit them to their own cars , I must have done hundreds over the years.
Thanks very much 👍 At least Metros were nice and flat 😊 Wish I'd kept mine now 👍 Hope you'll be doing a video soon, I know it's not really the month for exploring on a bike haha
@@GlynOC Thanks Glynn, I've had the dreaded flu and it's really hanging on ... coughing all the time and really don't feel up to riding or making video's 🤧
Stay inside innit, it's horrible out anyway 👍get well soon 👍
those graphics and off-road Tyres give it a bit of a early 2000's Triumph Tiger vibe.
Looking forward to some new ride videos.
That's right, I knew I'd seen it somewhere before!
it looks good, and like you said its easy to remove if you fancy a change later on.
Very nice!!! 😄
A very unique bike it's turned out to be, looks fantastic. For me, I'd remove the graphics from the forks now, looks a bit too much but the tank and guards, spot on.🙂👍
Thank you Jonathan 🙏 I've peeled some fork bits off today and the odd bit here and there to tone the old Zebra down a bit 🦓 cheers, Glyn
YUP, you've done it again.
Lucky with that one!
What can I say, pure magic !
Falling down stairs and landing the right way up I think!
Phew busy day. Been out all day. Ready for bed.
Was thinking that stickers, will spoil the looks. But no! Defo added a vibe. No an easy curverture to fit too.
Maybe add the flyscreen?
Best regards your Scottish brother.😊
If you did them in black on bumble he'd look like a Tiger, or a Bee even, yes that would make more sense - Bumble, doh 🐝 You've just reminded me about flyscreens, I had put some thought into them but had put it off whilst waiting for the rest of the bike to finish. More Meteor stuff next, filming tomorrow 🐝 Hope you had a great day out, Glyn
@@GlynOC yes decent. Just no stamina nowadays. So my Neice play at my footie team’s ground, in u16’s then had to go pick up the club photographer and return. 2 games in one day.
Look forward to the video.
Better than I thought but still a lot of effort for not much result. Carry on....
That could be on my grave stone!!
Cheers Glyn, great how to movie. Also how do you rate tank rack? Do you think it would be secure with small bag attached? Thinking of getting one for my Classic 350.
Thank you! It's quite secure but I don't think I'd trust it with more than my sandwiches. I've seen some natty tank bag things from India that look secure and fitting with the period look, I might try one of those. I think Bruce, Coastrider Scotland has secured that rack more firmly but he has completely painted his tank @coastriderscotland
Glyn, do you apply clear coat over the gold foil stickers?
Hi David, no, these were just straight on as they came and left like that 👍
@GlynOC I quite fancy getting some for my classic 350!
They're very good, I'll prob get another sheet for the Classic👍
No !!!
At least I didn't paint it on 😊
Another well done my fraind. Looks good. You have a good week to. Lemay. Nelson. Vancouver Washington northwest.
Thank you, that looks like an incredible part of the world you live in. I love seeing ride videos from the Northwest, a bit like here I imagine but times 100!
