i love when singers read lyrics off a teleprompter.. it yields such a special touch, especially when its a wordy Bob Dylan song. Bonnie got that syrup and soul in her voice like noone else.
'Syrup and soul'--great description of Bonnie's spectacular sound! As for lyric retention? Even John Lennon was notorious for forgetting the words TO HIS OWN SONGS, and ended up either having to take them to a nearby surface (see his 'Instant Karma' video!), or else have someone hold them up for him to read--the ancient, living teleprompter (see The Beatles rooftop concert at Apple HQ, Savile Row)...

Great Performance Sheryl Crow Singing 🎤With Bonnie Raitt Siinging 🎤Song From Eric Clapton’s Collection “Everything Is Broken”And Sheryl ‘s Great Band🎸🎹🥁 Thank You All,Denis,Denny
I to have loved an listened to her for a long time! I use to go see her in the late 70s where my sister bartended at the Backdoor(Bar) in Ukiah, calif.
Bonnie is happy to be there being Bonnie! I remember first time I heard her from the radio in the '70s, singing Paul Siebels "Louise", grabbed my heart with her silky fist. Didn't know who it was at the time, took me several years to find out it was her, from a compilation album. I'm very hard-to-get lyric-wise, I mostly dig instrumental music and vocals is often just another instrument to me, but Bonnie made Louises lyrics hit my soul.

God, where is this type of music nowadays!!!
You can listen to all of Dave Edmunds' records from the 70s through the 90s.
Bonnie Raitt is super gutsy . . . She sounds better every year . . . Enjoyed this very much!
Holy smokes...two fabulous, talented women with that ole R&R thing going on.....totally dreamy.
Man, that drummer. He's a star ✨
Grabbed hold of the beat……and throttled it….fantastic
I totally agree.
Two incredible female legends (Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow), rocking out to a song by Bob Dylan. Not sure how anyone could dislike this!
, that's a positive like from me
Yeah -- notice how Crow is putting on all the "rock and roll" cliche poses.
I'm tired of the phony imitate-male-rock-and-rollers "feminism".

I Saw Bonnie Raitt at the Gorge at George in eastern Washington on September 15 1990 and SHE Was AWESOME . Love Her For Ever
That key change on harmonica is just pure class.
that drummer is amazing
Sounds so cool. I play guitar. Can you or anyone else explain how the drummer can hit all those beats @ the 45 second mark ?
@@frankthompson3495 he is a real good drummer. lots of practice and lots of gigs. Pretty standard technique for drummers

More Bonnie SLIDE please! Spectacular performance!
everytime I see/hear Sheryl do this tune..her drummer is just sooo in the pocket..on ya mate!
Good 'old-fashioned' rock and roll ! (I particularly liked the key change with the harp at around 2:15)...
I was there and it was one of the most awesome concerts EVER!
I was there too... one of the musical highlights of my life. Two glorious days of music - incredible!
