Thank you for watching! These photography videos are usually directed at beginner photographers. Take the photography tips and tricks with a grain of salt and try to understand the tips from a beginner photographer's point of view.
I also like how repeatable prime lenses are. No guessing
Portraits, low light, people in general: Prime
Wildlife, landscape, nature in general: Zoom
Product photography: Probably Macro.
You should buy both of them
50mm 1. 8
70-200 2.8
And 35mm 1.8
Best
Also 28-70mm
16mm
Well explained ❤
Nice bro from . India
What is your opinion on the ttartisan- camera lenses ?
Its actually nice suggestions 😊
Which suggestions? He just talked nonsense and left out major parts which are really interesting
Prime Lenses should be smaller and lighter.
Canon L lens team : We don't do that here.💀
If you're starting fresh I really recommend also to invest the extra 100 bucks for a fully manual prime 50-55mm with a wide variable aperture like f/1.2-1.4 to fully learn how the triangle of aperture, exposure and ISO work and learn to manually focus without relying on the AF of the camera. It will force you to really work with your camera and is also a really rewarding work to result ratio when you hit the shot. It will not only let you appreciate your auto features of the camera but gives you full quicker creative freedom also
And if you want to get into macro there is also a cheaper way to get to macro. Get a filter to mount adapter and reverse the lens on your camera. 50mm gives you a 1:1 subject magnification and 24/35mm will already give you a 2:1 magnification and get you really close to your subject without paying hundreds or thousand of dollars
who cares nowadays about the exposure triangle? Its easy AF to understand:
shutter speed - higher-> less light, slower-> more light
ISO - basically the light amplification of the sensor, higher ISO = brighter image
Aperture - the only "more complex" number in this triangle since its not linear but also pretty easy to understand - It says basically how "dark" the lens is.... for example at F/8 not much light passes thru, at F/1.8 much more.
The macro part was probably true longer ago. But with modern cameras... you just want a proper macro lens (and autofocus) for focus stacking for example.
I did macros also for a long time the basic way, just stopping down to get more DoF. But since i have the EOS R7 with its internal focus stacking, its a charme and a reverse mounted lens would not work for this.
Also, macro lenses are damn cheap, just get a basic 50mm 2.8 Macro lens, they are small (much smaller and lighter than a 100mm 2.8 macro on a Full Frame camera) and give 75-80mm equivalent focal length on APS-C.
Looks like ChatGPT
What zoom lens should i get??
70-200/4 or 2.8 depending on ur budget
How much are these?
500-3000 bucks for most lenses
i bought a used canon 50mm f1.8 prime lense for 80€ and it's pretty solid imo
