Maybe you could do a review on aftermarket frame castings and parts.
What company's are good and which ones to stay away from

I had given that some thought. The one item that really was a stinker was the replica downtubes. Neither one was straight (in terms of getting from the sidecar loops to the neck) but the one side was bent in both the X-Y axis. Had I not had my buddy’s original frame to use as a reference I’m not sure how I would have known to make them work. It was a laughable error on the sidecar loops as the R and the L (right/left) were on wrong sides. It didn’t take long to figure that one out. Other than not having the correct foundry marks the rest of pieces worked in terms of the geometry) because they all worked together to get the right shape/size/accuracy to make the frame. I need to overcome this welding issue and install a few more small parts but I did what I set out to do which is take a bunch of new/used parts and make a wishbone frame. Thanks for following.

You really gotta do all the welding with these tightened down to a jig. I could see immediately the sidecar loops pulled back, and the neck pulled down.

Yep. We welded the top part of the frame clamped to the welding table laying flat. I was so focused on keeping the neck pointed straight down the road that I overlooked it dropping from the heat. We’re fixing to find out if the downtubes can be pushed out so I can get the clearance I need on the back of the sidecar loop. Thanks for watching!
