Even if I was rich I wouldn't want to live in a big house like these ones. They feel empty and cold. I like small and cozy places. If I had enough money I would buy one of those super modern 20 sqm tiny houses. Sadly those tiny homes are a lot more expensive than some of the bigger ones! :( I guess because a lot of single people want to buy them.
You can builz.them alone .. my friend build himself one with reciyled material for around 2000 Euros.

Houses are very cold? Rich people in big houses but everyone doing own things, not at home, maid is cleaning/cooking. At least it seems so in all kdramas and movies (Parasite).. big cold house? Haha I want a 3 bedroom luxury apartment. Haha but I got no money too

Absolutely right. Slippery floors can damage your dogs legs. When I bought a Bull Mastiff I quickly saw his problems standing up, walking and running on the tiled floors. I changed the whole house to make it OK for him.

I'm going on 24 & I also can't really move out because of financial issues so I love watching vlogs of people & their apartments - just living I guess.
I am addicted to Korean real estate/home videos! I am in love with the one with the pool. It also made me want to work harder, do better. And it is on Jeju Island... So as long as we are going to dream, one in Seoul and another on Jeju - that is the life!

I’ve been to Signiel Lotte Tower, the building is huge and have more privacy and the views are awesome but it’s too expensive. When we stay in one of the room, their reception are is in 79 floor and had so much security. It’s feels really weird. Yes I prefer a house than these expensive apartments.

I dont know if you have them in Korea, but the upscale neighborhoods in the US have "model homes." They are there to show off options available to purchase on a new home build. I like to do what you're doing but go walking through them. Good chance Ill never be able to own one either lol

I sold my 3 bdrm two story house and moved into my husband 2 ROOM small apartment in Korea after we got married. I don’t mind a small place but I miss carpets and central heating. I hate the heated floors
I can’t imagine even wanting to live like this lol I’ve always had this ideal future living on the countryside in France in a little town house with a donkey as a pet and with five kids and my husbands like a farmer and I own my own bakery where the donkeys like our mascot that carries supplies from my husbands farm and everyone loves him and we’re just super cozy and everyone knows everyone.
I also would just feel icky living in a place like that. It’s so pointless, like you’re just wasting resources that could be used to help people or the environment. I mean yeah, jobs are provided to the construction workers and the cleaners, but build like a rehab centre or something. I’d never feel like I could do anything in one of these houses without feeling guilty. I was raised in the rocky mountains of Canada by my Native American grandmother, so maybe that’s why these are my values.
Point is, no matter how much I wanna be with Taehyung (frik you, I can’t control my desires lmao) I will never be comfortable living in a place like that so clearly we’re incompatible. Too bad. I’ll love him forever, but that’s a deal-breaker.

As a foreigner that lived in places as this in Korea the USD vs KRW makes it pretty cheap, compared to something like this in USA. Funny thing is you see more McDonalds scooters dropping off food than than anything else.
Even with my salary in the US, I dont think i will get enough money to even afford any of this

This really hits home. I'm the one picking up after my wife. She buys all discount. I've boxed , not a lie or exaggeration, 500 shoes in 13 years. She bought a two levels home. I take her new stuff to the basement for storage. And discount food, you could live in her home and never buy food for 10 years. Rice every meal. I stopped complaining, it now my official job. Don't leave home, I can see your future

I think there are rich people out there who would opt for a simple house rather than a luxurious one but I feel like they'd pick living in a luxurious home to remind them that their hard work pays off after so many struggles. Also, security since luxurious homes are located in a neighborhood with also the same financial standing. Especially if they make money in front of the camera as model, actor, idol, they would want to be at peace while being themselves at home.

I feel ya, gurl... I am looking/dreaming of place - so far I love Jeju Island (the tunnel house looks like something from the past and future at the same time) and the modern homes of Gangnam and Itawon are cool, too... But, Seoul I love Yongsandong & Hannam-dong... And, in dreams I can afford to live there... After watching many of these real estate videos - it makes me sad - more so for political reasons - so many new developments going up while people go homeless - and knowing many of these places will have empty buildings going to waste... When they could be occupied.
Valyn McNeil yeah I agree. They provide jobs with the construction and cleaning, but build a rehab centre or a homeless shelter not a massive house for only one person. I would feel so guilty living in a place like that. A small house in jeju would be absolutely beautiful omg I was thinking France or mountains of Canada but jeju is another great option.
