For example, I just wrote a poem and it basically says I hit rock bottom when I decided to stop diggin. So, I threw out my shovel and started livin'. It seems that we fear what is unknown, but I'm proud to call rock bottom my home. I just thought that was kind of crazy. I just never heard anyone else use that expression before. I have another one titled, "The Game is Rigged" and my friend Dondre keeps saying I need to do something with it. I feel like we should chat. I have struggled a lot with anxiety and depression and writing, along with some other therapeutic measures, have really been what has gotten me through. I've always written poetry, but started writing a lot of music in the last year or so. Anyway, I hope this isn't weird lol. I have just been looking for the right beats (backing tracks) to go with my shit for about six months now and this is the first thing that hit!!! You're instrumentals are awesome! I love the hooks.
