Jasper's Secret Mix from Better Cocktails at Home

Jasper's Secret Mix is an awesome mixer for rum and tiki drinks. I found the recipe in Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails and I make it frequently. It's basically a sour mix, but a sour mix that is awesome. Over the next few videos, I'll be using this in a few different cocktails.
Jasper's Secret Mix
4oz lime juice
.5 cup sugar
.33oz Angostura bitters
.25 nutmeg
Add all ingredients to a mason jar and shake. Let the flavors marry in the fridge for 2 hours before using. Keeps in the fridge for a while.

Yeah. They are really only useful for speed of drink making.

Hmm.. For how long can I store such a mix? O.o

At least a few weeks. Probably quite a bit longer. Doubt it will mold, but the flavor will start to dull.

I used some Florida natural crystals. I like it. Not as processed as white table stuff.
