    Very beautiful, I also like the way you teach. You keep everything in frame most of the time plus you zoom in and out so we can see what you're talking about. Thank you for a great tutorial. Now I just have to go through my bead stash and find the beads to make these and the necklace.

    • @GinasGemCreations

      Thank you! I appreciate the very kind feedback! It is difficult to stay in frame, I have learned to glance up at the camera often t see if I am in frame. It's easy to get involved in the beading and forget to look and see where your hands are. I hope you find beads in stash to make these and the necklace, they are fun to make.

    Yes Peggy, to increase the length, just make more of the short units of netting, but make sure to do the same amount of short netting units on both sides of the necklace. Of course you could make more of the longer units too but it is easiest to keep it even by adding more to the ends.

    Hi Gina,
    I love this set. I made the bracelet for some friends at Christmas 2014. Anyway I added an 8* bead to the center of the large middle ring so that I could have something to attach the center point dangle below too. But then while watching just now I was thinking about adding eye points so that the dangles would have more movement. Use maybe soldered shut eye pins...just a thought. Beautiful

    This is one of the best beading tutorials ive ever seen . People never zoom in close enough for you to see fine detail they talk very fast or they just dont start at the beginning . Im new to beading , how do you tie the tail of beading thread ?

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  10 лет назад +2

      rainbowmocasin1Thank you for the compliment. you do not tie the tail of beading thread, as you would sewing thread. if you need a stop at the end, you thread on a bead, and go back through it. This becomes the stop. when you finish a thread or project you remove the bead and tie half hitch knots and sew through beads until the work is secure and then cut of the thread.

Just like love at the first sight ha ha ha men my first creation was a herringbone spiral necklace. It was sooooo easy and it turned out amazing so l started buyng first small seadbeads size 11/0,15/0, 9/0, 8/0 delicas. only small beads. I dont have a job at this moment witch means that l haven t got much money. Every time l went buyng some sizes and colors. Every time 20 euros, 10, 15 and so on. and l ve been learning a lot whit my mini beads.every day. I am subscriber in many channels. In many languages, l watch videos in italian,spanish,inglish,russian,turkish,african,indian , germany, portugues, romenia and some others that l have NO IDEA WHAT FOR LANGUAGE IT IS. One thing l know..thanks God and the youtube l can make any project that l want. I know allmost all stitchs inclusive increase and decrease when need. All the spirals, also l can bezel cabochons,eyeballs,buttons. I can make rings,beaded togles. I can learn very easy, .today l ve done a twisted cube bracelet whit mini bugles and 15/0 seadbeas.beaded clasp, IT LOOKS SOOO LOVELY. I can make pretty things allready.lm m loking out to buy bigger beads and bicones to make some projects from you and others. I m full of ideas but l need beads,ha ha ha.last week l have bought superduos,farfales,.drops for the first time l was so happy. Specially whit the superduos and the drops, l couldn t stop loking at them. They are so beautifull. My husband was loughing me out. He said that l am addicted to beads.

      Hi I had an idea that might stop the earrings from flopping. It's to embellish the back as well. This might help to stiffen it up. I haven't tried to make these yet but I'm getting my supplies together for it. Just a thought. I don't know if this would help or not. Sincerely Melissa Doucette

    I enjoyed making the earrings. I only had 4 lb Fireline and 10 lb Wild Fire. I made one with the 4 lb Fireline and went back through the beads several times to make it more solid. The 2nd earring I made with the 10 lb Wild Fire. The 11/0 beads kept breaking. I went through the beads again with the 4 lb Fireline to strengthen it. The problem I am having is that both earrings keep curling when I wear them. Can you tell me what I did wrong or what I can do to keep them straight and more solid?

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  10 лет назад +1

      No, you didn't do it wrong, mine curl slightly too. Use a little spray starch or dip them on liquid starch then after they dry use a damp cloth to lightly clean up the beads. Some people use floor shiners like "Future" to stiffen bead work. But i think that would make the crystals dull. It is the fan design that makes it curl. I should have worn them more before making the tutorial. I hung them on the model and they worked great, but on a human i think motion and body heat cause them to curl some. But starching should help.
